Akira Tendou begins truly living his life, free from his work, but realizes quickly that he ran out of beer. After a series of events occurring as he obtain his beers, Akira began drafting his bucket list of things he wanted to do before he dies. Meanwhile, another survivor that crosses paths with Akira began drafting her own list of things she needs to do to avoid dying.

Akira learns that a teammate on his high school rugby team is in danger and goes to Shinjuku to try to save him.

Akira and Kencho flee into the basement of a department store and meet a trio of flight attendants - checking one more item off the bucket list.

Akira remembers a childhood memory how he wanted to be a superhero. As part of his bucket lists, Akira wishes to become a superhero and with the help of Kendo he wants to save others like a hero.

In attempt to reach his parents' house, Tendo and Kencho look to journey in an RV, and Tendo finds himself running into a familiar face.

With Kosugi in complete control of his mind, Akira makes an astonishing decision.

Akira and his friends meet a German college student who isn't going to let a zombie outbreak stop her from chasing her dreams.

Akira and his friends run into a man named Kumano, who is constructing a treehouse in the forest.

Akira and the others settle in, helping out the villagers and their fellow refugees from Tokyo. But an old friend becomes consumed with revenge.

With a massive zombie horde coming their way, Akira and the others split up to try and save the villagers, only to find themselves facing another threat.

Faced with an impossible choice, Akira's time may have finally run out. And he hasn't even finished his bucket list yet.
