Sex & Nudity

  • The entire show has a running gag that Marinette (Ladybug) is in love with Adrien (Cat Noir) And Adrien (Cat Noir) is in love Ladybug (Marinette) but they don't know each other's identity.
  • Some of the superhero suits are tight and form-fitting, especially Ladybug's.
  • Kisses between teens
  • Little bit
  • In season 3 ep. 22 (Félix), Félix attempts to forcefully kiss Ladybug without her consent.

Violence & Gore

  • Very mild cartoon violence, never any blood and no deaths. At times villains will do things that threaten the lives of characters but these never actually cause injury. Think people thrown off bridges, dropped through holes, or having objects thrown at them right before being saved by the heroes. The heroes use their brains rather than brawn to defeat villains, and when they are defeated, Ladybug uses a special move that magically undoes all the damage they did, sometimes even restoring a destroyed structure or wiping out a flood.

Profanity

  • "suck" is said at least once in the episode season 4 "Hack-San."
  • There's some uses of heck and screwed up.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • In an episode, a teenager blows bubbles out of his mouth to look like smoke. Played for laughs.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • It isn't that frightening as everyone always comes up OK especially the superheroes and the akumatised victim.
  • Chloé (Queen Bee) may be rude to Marinette (Ladybug) throughout the whole series. It IS played for laughs though.
  • Lila is considered a complete liar, trying to manipulate Marinette's friends. Her actions are unpleasant and atrocious.
  • The appearance of the akuma villains and sentimonsters is not especially scary, as most of them have cartoonish designs such as a man made of bread or a witch crossed with a cyclist.
  • When someone is akumatized, one of Hawk Moth's butterflies called akumas infects an object causing darkness to surround their body, transforming them into an akuma villain with Hawk Moth saying he's giving them power to take revenge. This usually happens at least once per episode.
  • None for neurodivergent viewers.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Adrien's mother, Emilie Agreste, is in a state of coma. Him and his father frequently mourn her which may be upsetting to some viewers. It is revealed that Hawk Moth is trying to get the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous so he can wish her back but if he succeeded the universe would become imbalanced.
  • Season four sees Marinette under alot of pressure due to her being the new guardian of The Miracle Box. Unfortunately, she loses the final battle this season which prompts her to have a panic attack. This scene is very realistic and the season overall is made with Older Kids, Teens, & Adults in mind. So be careful showing this to younger children.
  • Cat Noir often gets hit by akumatized villains. While Ladybug fixes everything with her powers by the end of each episode, these scenes can be very sad to some viewers, especially since Cat Noir often does this to protect Ladybug.
  • When sentimonsters are hit by Cataclysm, their bodies crack and they go berserk.
  • Season 3 episode 21 (Cat Blanc) is one of the one haunting and intense episodes. Cat Blanc has a frightening appearance and personality, not to mention incredibly destructive powers. Paris is depicted completely destroyed and flooded, all the colors washed out and all the people dead ash shells. Buildings are shown falling. At one point, Cat Blanc almost destroys possibly the entire universe.
  • In season 3 ep. 13 (Desperada), a character who can replay moments in time continuously replays a fight, trying to win each time. But he fails, and watches someone he admires vaporize to the villain's powers every single time. He mentions he has been trying for months.
  • In season 3 ep. 11 (Miraculer) Cat Noir gets hit by Catacylsm, essentially breaking his ribs. He is shown in a deteriorated state for almost the rest of the episode.
  • In season 2 ep. 25, Ladybug forces Cat Noir to Cataclysm himself. He gasps and you see his body turn to ash before it disintegrates. However, this is all an illusion and didn't really happen.
