I am now convinced that Louis Theroux is crazy...

In this very scary documentary, Louis Theroux travels to Lagos Nigeria to talk with the thugs that run the communities. In some cases, he walks about town with the local gang leaders and watches him and his men extorting money from everyone. Later, he meets a leader of a paramilitary organization that pretty much does the exact same thing! Is it any wonder that it's a country known for corruption and violence?

The show is a chilling look at this culture and left me wondering why Theroux would put himself in such a dangerous situation. I mean, it isn't like the BBC or the British Army could do anything to intervene if violence breaks out or someone is ticked off by Theroux's questions. Perhaps he's crazy...but still a darned good documentarian.
