The series is totally engaging and keep your seats tight

The content is same of attacks from terrorists but the making was very good like the new ammunition's like drones were introduced..the important part of repeated contents is the presentation which was very good here..some scenes were really strong like regina sitting bedside the criminal and interrogating..the background music was good and gave a good punch to the scenes

Regina played her rôle marvellously ,her screen presence was impressive even she looked strong and beautiful in formal dress code..mita as a senior NIA officer gave some good thumping dialogues

The negative part were family disturbances of cop which is very common and the title should used was very lame

It will keep you engaged.

Jaanbaaz hindustan ke(season1):-a good watch with definite loopholes in the screenplay and writing.

Jaanbaaz hindustan ke is an action serues directed by srijit mukherji.

Regina cassandra looked impeccable in 'the rocket boys' but i have to say she is a limited actress. Her dialogue delivery was inarticulate, clear that she was having problems with her hindi. Sumeet vyas, on the other hand, outclassed everyone, especially in the final episode, where he flaunts his wicked and disgusting thoughts. Mita vashisht and barun sobti were good. The actor who played reyhansh was brilliant but his character being told to call himself as reyhansh while speaking did not sound good at all.

This is a very commercial approach, so does not have the required nuance to execute certain sequences. For eg:-the action sequences are very amateurish, and the actors too were pretty slow and clumsy. Some dialogues are just for spoonfeeding purposes. The screenplay is uneven. There is no chemistry between kavya and sameer. The family arc goes for a toss when the stakes are raised. There is no character depth. We cannot feel anything for any character.

The background score is good and unnecessary at certain places, while being completely out of place in some other instances. The cinematography is normal. There was a conscious effort to differentiate between meghalaya and rajasthan through the use of colour. The dance of bihu was just a joke, executed so badly. At least, hire some authentic assam -born dancers.

Now coming to its philosphy. It showed the real instances. There are many muslims who are working day and night for this country, salute to them but there are also some of them who are enemy to the very idea of this country and are extremists. They are being brainwashed regularly, which has to be kept in check.

I rate it 7.

Highly engaging fast paced action series!!

Web series review: Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke streaming on Zee5 #sanjuzzreviews #ZEE5 #JaanbaazHindustanKe #ReginaCassandra #MitaVashisht The story starts off with RDX being smuggled into India via the porous Bangladesh border in cement sacks. A sinister group of highly motivated terrorists hellbent on creating mayhem in the country and how the NIA races against time to stop them.

The story is fast paced & engaging moving from Shillong to Jaipur with the climax finally happening in Kerala.

A great star cast with Regina Cassandra as the protagonist (NIA officer Kavya) along with Mita Vashisht , Chandan Jha, Barun Sobti who play the good guys pitted against the antagonist duo of Sumeet Vyas & Gayathrie (Tariq & Thasleena respectively) have done fabulously with their well scripted roles.

Unfortunately this series has been quite underated. I would highly recommend it as a bingewatch worthy option this weekend.

The are a few over the top moments, but overall a decently made series!!

Going with 3/5 stars for this one .. Adios 🙂!!

A must watch web series

Regina has done it again. She is an awesome actress and is made for these kind of acting, like a military officer or police officer. This web series is based on several true events. Kerela has become hot bed for ISIS recruitment and this series has done justice by showing that bitter truth. There are several people who get recruited by Deash and trained to kill for religion. Finally everyone gets worst death. People should live peacefully together and allow others to practice whichever religion they want. Life is so short but people are ready to kill in name of religion and God whom they have never seen but heard from others. This man made god is dangerous than the actual god which controls this world but don't make people fight with each other.

Not as expected

This series started well but after few episodes lost its continuity. The second episode was really disheartening. It started with a political meeting in Guwahati and the glimpse of Bihu dance was shown. Being an Assamese it was really sad to see that the dance was shown was not proper...It's a folk dance of the people of Assam and it should have been presented well if not perfectly. Right after that I felt like quitting it. But still continued expecting that may be the rest episodes would be better but it was like presenting the same old story of terrorism in a new way. The first episode shows visuals of Tura and it is very soothing to the eyes of the viewers,then glimpses of Guwahati and then Jaipur,Kerela,everything is very attractive but the ending missed something. Something felt like the ending it was expected and the last three episodes were made in hurry. Else this is a good series but cannot claim to be somethingextraordinary. Streaming on Zee5,it can be a one time watch series.

The web series is watchable and enjoyable ; it starts with picturesque Meghalaya and transverse through Rajasthan and finally ends at Kerala! Regina has done extremely well; So has done Mita Vashsishth and Barun Sobti! As a villain Sumit Vyas has been a disappointment though ; but Gayathree as Thasleena has done commendable job! Story revolves around home grown terrorist with ISIS link who are hell bent to destroy our country! The series has some misses and hits too! Overall it is fine and does the job in decent manner! Hope it comes back with another seasons which looks prominent looking at the issues India faces in general! Music is a bit disappointing though!

Beautiful Meghalaya

Review Jaanbaz Hindustan ke webseries of 8 Episodes on Z5 by Srijit Mukherjee.

After well picturized the beauty of Northeast in Anek by Anubhav Sinha, now mesmerizing locations of Meghalaya beautifully captured by Shanu Singh Rajput in Srijit's Jaanbaz Hindustan ke. Generally Bollywood makers neglected beautiful locations of Northeast.

Story line, dialogues are nothing extraordinary or exceptional, but script is well written. Directorial part is excellent as expected from Srijit. Cinematography by Shanu is beautifully crafted, specially chase sequences in Kerala brilliantly using the drone shots. Music side is weak.

As usual flawless performance by Chandan Roy as we have seen in Panchayat both Seasons. Leading role of Regina Cassandra, Meeta Vasist, Gayathri justified their character authentically. But the show stealer is Sumit Vyas, brilliant execution by him in interrogation scene in last episode.

I will give this series 3 star for beautifully shoots at Meghalaya and for casting. Though I am fan of Srijit Mukherjee, but no 5 star.

Good engaging plot & execution without overdrama

Very good plot and fast execution that keeps you hooked & must say, quite an underrated series. It doesn't bores, keeps you intrested. Not every attack could be prevented, shown in this series while in most of others,every attack gets prevented which is not practical. Best thing was the final episode dialogues of sumeet vyas, quite relevant to understand the strategy and mindset of some enemies of India. Shows our agencies and many unrecognized heroes do continous hard+smart work to protect us who are never known & also their family sacrifices without overdramatizing it. Though name of web series should have been better one, this looks cheeky and actual content is much better.

Some said that hindi of main lead was not proper, the character is an IPS iyer from south and most have similar accent so it's character demand. Most of actors were good especially sumeet vyas. Along with courage on field, brains(IT guy) should get recognition too which was not shown.

All in all, happy to see this series,found last few series on terror attacks a bit overdramatic and another good thing is female lead is shown as IPS, on field action officer but not much of feminism angle was imposed in it like some of recent such series with female leads(show discrimination or comments by colleagues or people based on gender). Here main lead is an IPS officer passionate for country and duty irrespective of gender. So that's a welcome change.

Rest don't want to give any spoilers, there are no major twists but pace of story keeps you engaged, so go for it.

Good story but poor execution

Story is good as well as matches all secret agent or war stories. As usual one great officer is shown who has qualities above 130 Crore Indians. But she faces typical family problems.

Good for time pass but shows some useless discussions of officers with terrorists. It becomes boring and unacceptable at those points. Terrorist is more like a professor and is treated in the same way by police.

Some unacceptable but entertaining technical shows of drones.

It must be taken in to account that people are exposed to so many web series and movies that you can not show them ordinary . The bar is clearly raised a lot.

Overall nice to pass time.

Okayaish, not very authentic police thriller

The Storyline is OK, but the execution is quite ordinary. The heroine always sports a scorning grin and arrogant attitude and uses filthy language to make up for the lack of authentic toughness and bravery. Regina does not deliver and Mita vasisht is so-so. The terrorist skirmish scenes are handled amateurishly. Only one Drone lab technician for the entire NIA and country in crisis is unbelievably senseless. The heroine is named Kavya Iyer but she eats chicken and fish , not at all like an Iyer household or customs. Their family scenes are dragging and child artist is jarring. The very premise of Islamic jihadi terrorsits has been unnecessarily linked to Syria, Afghanistan and whatnot without any back story or content. Why these terrorists are here, how they could evade all State authorities is best left to imagination with few ordinary stunt scenes... Not worth a must see!

Foolish ending with bad acting

People love everything that's patriotic but that doesn't mean you will make the same content with technicalities that doesn't make sense.

Patriotism cause goosebumps but this web series doesn't even give 1 % feeling of patriotism.

A female lead was something new but a strong actress could have been chosen.

Can't even remember 1 casting that was appropriate.

Villans were giving tough competition to heros when it comes to bad acting.

It's a huge responsibility to get the audience connected when the director tries something patriotic. The web series was below par. Watching it will be a waste of time.

Propaganda series

Same old wine. Set of Muslims wants to bomb india and our hero stops them. We are now bored with this kind of content. Ending is illogical. The makers focused was more on fake feminism. The end message is husband have to take care of the kids and wife will be in mission to save the nation. The series gives the feeling that only this lady in NIA is working 24X7 and without her india is in helpless situation. NIA never works like this. They work on team and rarely depend on individuals charismatic capabilities. This series also inclined towards right wing ideology because the dialogues were framed to please certain blind followers. It is waste of time to watch such series. Stay away.

Predictable story with some poor performances

This webseries is an average watch. The biggest downside is the performance. Regina requires an urgent crash course in acting. Her performance is below average and she seems to have focused more on her looks rather than acting. The script and screenplay are also average. The background and intro music stand out in an otherwise boring and predictable story line. This series would perhaps have been better with some talented actors. Anyone who has watched the amazing Delhi crime will agree with me. Overall it's just a one time watch and nothing great to mention about. The family scenes are too boring and although the main character is a Tamil Iyer, never do the mother and daughter speak in Tamil which is too good to believe. Too many loopholes in what could have been transformed into an amazing and more engaging series.

Worst goddamn show ever

Worst goddamn show ever. Pathetic story . There are so many holes in the plot that it looks like a net. They did every mistake possible just to make the story going to make 8 episode . They showed that our law enforcement and intelligence community is full of stupid and incompetent people . We have no protocol and procedure . It is such a weak plot , it shows how mentally challenged the production team is. I wish i hadnt watched it.

If the story writer had any IQ , this series would have been over in 2 episodes. A school child would have written a better story. It was blunder to watch this show.

Propoganda Series. Overacting Actress

This is of the worst series ever watched. Lots of overacting and action sequence which a 6 year old can do and the main lead actress Kavya overacting omg she was acting like she is the only one who can save everyone , just overacting in each and every secene , dead storyline, and anything is happening without any logic behind it and she can drive anything literally anything without any training of it and can fight anyone. You will not find any patriotic feeling by watching it just overacting everywhere and predictable story and bollywood main thing to show that muslims are good and she can solve any riddle within seconds and going to fight villains all alone without any help and going to a new place and knew the way of every place , literally anything is happening.

Nothing great to see..Mukhbir or Night Manager are much better than this

Had high expectations after watching the trailers in youtube, but after watching the entire series was utterly disappointed..ridiculous acting, worthless action sequence, very 80s' special effects etc etc..This is a onetime watch and forget. Only thing which I liked in the initial few episodes were the stunning locations in North East (which still remains an unexplored area for movies/web series)..Other than that, there is nothing worthwhile to expect..The plot is completely watered, there is no buildup to the backstory of the protagonists..Completely clueless plot and very poor execution..world class actors were under-utillised thereby producing a very bad masala flick.
