A better production, but still a messy content

This movie, about 10 long years that have passed, where things are not so great anymore, where Tina who married an 89-year-old, who just refuses to die, and where Bettina who tries to keep her spirits up in a rotten marriage looking after the ungrateful man's children, is a better continuation of the Tina & Bettina duology (2012-2023).

First of all, this movie had a better production in general compared to the previous one. The technical aspects were obviously more on point without amateur flaws, and it just felt more like a movie with a higher budget.

Even though Aksel Hennie (as Thorvald) had a minor role, my props go to him for his fantastic acting. He was just like a real, old man, and he was also nearly unrecognizable because of the amazing job by the makeup artists. Odd-Magnus Williamson (as Tina) and Henrik Thodesen (as Bettina) did alright, but I actually think their script was much better this time. It was more often funny, and I had more laughs than in the first one.

When it comes to the story, it was alright, but it also had much unnecessary content, especially the second act, where Tina and Bettina went for the fame again with the help from Universal. Most of it was messy like in the first one, and things got a little out of hand after the first act. While we talk about the first act, I really liked this part. The movie had a good opening of both of the two girls' lives that had many funny moments.

So overall, this was a better part of the duology because of its more professional production that created a funnier story, but the story was still messy that made the movie mediocre.
