Uneasy Watching

Sons of Anarchy returns with the usual compelling drama but some new twists. The episode begins with Clay and Tara is prison. Clay is still alive and Tara won't see Jackson. Lee Toric is still causing trouble and it appears this may get worse. Some new connections are made and Jackson crosses a line he never has before. There is great viewing as the season's new story lines are introduced. A mysterious young boy appears throughout the episode and it is not until the final scenes that we learn why. There are parts of this episode that are very difficult to watch. I won't lie and it would be much better if the writers left this particular storyline alone. However in a show that likes to shock it was an obvious choice and an obvious point about guns. Because of this particular scene, an issue with Chibs and Juice and the line that Jackson crosses ,this is not my favourite episode. However it is classic SAMCRO which really means television drama at its best.

A great start to a new season with some confusion

This was overall a great episode. It took me a little while to get back into it but the show got intense fast and was well worth the watch. The character development of Tig has really made him my favorite character. Out of all the Sons, he's the one you can really feel for after all he's been through and will be put through this season. There were some confusing scenes with a new character that leave me wondering why those scenes were important to the storyline. I've noticed that there has been a steady increase in disturbing scenes. But the intensity of the situation between the Sons and that new retired marine gut is amazing. The end of this show makes me really look forward to next Tuesday and I think we can all expect great things to come.

The beginning of the new season starts as intense as usually although I am not 1005 sure about what the main story line in this season will be. Obviously there will be a lot about Clay and Tara in prison. Trying to get out or trying to get Clay killed there.

I kind of liked Tara in this episode more than I usually do. She is pretty badass in prison. Loved seeing her beat up the one who took away her blanket.

The brother of the nurse who got killed by Otto is interesting. Hope he can get Clay out. He sure keeps the promise on making Otto's life horrible now.

I wonder who that kid is who made the school shooting and how he will fit into the story

Fantastic first episode to kick off SOA season 6

Excellent first episode ! In fact, I enjoyed the first episode so much, I watched it again when it replayed immediately after, haha. Yes Mr Sutter I'm a major fan sir !

Great job overall! The only part I found a bit on the disturbing side was the young boy(shooter) but I'm absolutely looking forward in finding out what that was all about. Of course it wouldn't be SOA if it didn't include some disturbing or shocking scenes. My DVR set to record all episodes!

Thank you again to the SOA cast and crew, so happy my favorite show is back, so happy that I even named my new 12 week old Lab puppy Jax ! ;)

After the previous season being somewhat dissapointing, I can already tell that this season is gonna go in its footsteps.

I have loved this show but this episode was terrible I'm afraid. It lacked flow and had an array of dodgy and sick scenes. It tried too hard and then the way it ended was pathetic. I can't work out how this happened? I read two positive reviews prior to watching it and then thought it was just me until a friend said they were totally disappointed. I don't care how violent or twisted a show is but this was was all shock value. The show has had 5 decent seasons and really didn't need to stoop low. Do they think the viewers will abandon it if they don't push it hard? I'll still watch the next episode and cross my fingers. Maybe the show has new writers or directors. They should hire real people for both jobs ;-) On the good side a few of the actors carried it well. Fingers crossed for next week!

Love the show but wow enough with the sick stuff. This kid from nowhere is now an antagonist ? Really ? Tbis is the best they could come up with ? Good show , not great by any means tho.
