Alex and David are very much still in love and Jane and Brad are happy about having another couple to hang out with. Penny walks in and everyone wonders how her boyfriend broke up with her but they are still together. Brad has to go with Jane and Alex to a family event but Dave does not have to go. Brad does not seem happy of seeing Jane's dad again because they do not get on as well. Penny is able to convince Dave to go to the party. Penny believes she has mastered relationships with her new one which makes her give some advice. Jane asks Max for help to come up with a joke she can use that connects all the areas her dad is interested in together. We meet Alex's mom and the two seem very much a like even flirting with the same person. Jane try's her joke on Brad but he does not get it. Brad is left alone with Jane's dad and the two still cannot have a conversation. Dave comes and we find out Alex has not told her parents of her relationship with Dave. Jane walks in on Brad telling her joke to her dad and is not happy. Dave does not even find it easy to talk to Alex's dad because he is awkward to talk to. Once again Max is cut off the chair with Penny. Pete finds the fault list Penny made about him so he leaves. Brad finds Dave outside sad that Alex's family does not seem happy for him being back together with her. Penny tells Max about the list and also another embarrassing story that makes her cry. Jane goes crazy at her dad's party but Dave has to declare his relationship with Alex first. When she try's to break a melon she hits herself in the head waking up to her dad laughing. Max is able to get Pete back for Penny but also reads about a list of his faults. Funny episode especially involving Jane but other things did to work so well.
