I'm an Actress! (2009)

*** (out of 4)

This nine-minute interview with actress Zora Kerova can be found on the Blue Underground release of THE NEW YORK RIPPER, Lucio Fulci's controversial 1982 giallo. Kerova starts off talking about how she got the part and how she had no idea what she'd be doing until she arrived on set. From here she talks about having to play in a live sex act as well as the brutal murder that he character got. After discussing what it was like to work with Fulci, she then discusses some of the other directors she has worked with including Umberto Lenzi and Bruno Mattai. She also talks about the infamous hooks scene in CANNIBAL FEROX. At just 9-minutes there's really nothing ground-breaking here but fans of Italian horror will certainly want to watch this. The actress tells some good stories and there's no question that it's always hearing what it was like working with someone like Fulci.
