Great show. Just starting the series. I am hooked.

Injury on CTA tracks "throw the chain"

When the crew arrived at the station and proceeded onto the tracks, they were notified the 3rd rail might still be energized. They used a chain with an insulated pole other end grounded to a dead rail to test, rail was still hot. After the 2nd test rail was de energized thus Squads could extricate the injured, walk along the track way safely.

Given the equipment the Squad and Truck carry like the thermal image cameras, CO detectors, combustible gas indicators, Wonder why they don't have an induction voltage detector for DC since accidents do occur on the subways track ways and stations my input.
