Great film!

I saw this at the Washington D. C south Asian film festival. A man walks out of his house and supposedly his marriage after he finds his beautiful wife possibly cheating on him, to begin a surreal taxi trip with a strange Lynchian character of a man, through the city of Mumbai. Gorgeous use of color with a measured mix of melancholic brown filters, beautiful camerawork and framing induce absorbing atmosphere into this imaginative film. An uncanny sense of nostalgia and moodiness pervade through it's entire dreamlike runtime. The sound design (and soundtrack) are pitch-perfect, showing up as the beating heart of the film, always managing to claw in our attention and intrigue. Very interesting choice of actors!

A must-see for those into David Lynch, Alan Renais, with a bit of Gaspar Noey modernism, although none of this deprives it from the authentic feel of it's particular place and time, and situations. An indie film worthy of international audiences!
