One of the funniest episodes in recent times.

Despite all the brickbats received from the critics and setbacks received due to the absence of key actors, The Kapil Sharma Show somehow almost always manages to put up a good show. The second episode with the team of Cirkus was once again packed with a heavy dosage of humour, not only because of Kapil Sharma and his team but also due to the active participation of the star cast of Cirkus. Some of the best episodes of Kapil Sharma Show are the ones where the guests get involved in the proceedings instead of being mere spectators; this was one of them. The episodes with Shah Rukh Khan have always been entertaining to watch not only because he has a great sense of humour but also because he is sporting enough to play along with the artists and actively participate in their shenanigans.

Kapil Sharma's rapport with Rohit Shetty helped a great deal in this episode, as was evident in the frankness with which Rohit and others were interacting with Kapil; there was no need of ice breakers in this episode. I love it when lesser known actors get an opportunity to be the centre of attention in shows like this, because they have so much potential as an actor but because of our obsession with super stars, we tend to ignore the supporting actors. Siddharth Jadhav has previously performed with Kapil on Comedy Circus, but it was with this episode I realized how talented a comic this man is. It was wonderful to see him get the spotlight and talk about his journey; I really hope this becomes the new normal on Kapil's show and we not only get to see big stars but also those actors who play small supporting roles in the movies.

The trolling and roasting of Anil Charanjeet was absolutely hilarious to watch; we are used to watching Kapil make fun of his friends but for a change it was happening with a guest and I think it took even Kapil by surprise. The whole scenario felt like a comedy stage play, except that it was all unscripted. This is what happens when guests break their shackles and let go off their celebrity aura to have some unadulterated fun. This is why I feel guests should try to get involved in the proceedings because it's extremely enjoyable for them as well as for the viewers.

The episode had a perfect ending with Jayvijay Sachan and Vikalp Mehta performing as Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar. These comedians are not random mimicry artists, they are so good that if you close your eyes you will feel as if Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar are actually present on the stage. Mimicry alone tends to get boring after a while, and that's why loved the fact that the creators refrained from overdoing it and used it as a cherry on top of what was easily one of the best episodes of recent times.

The only problem in this episode was as always Archana Puran Singh and her unnecessary interruptions. She has absolutely no reason to be on the show, she adds nothing to the show and it remains a mystery as to why the showrunners are actually paying her for being a spectator.
