Megan is absolutely unbearable
interestingstuff24 August 2022
In most episodes Megan is extremely annoying but in this episode she takes it to the next level. She's absolutely unbearable during this episode. It makes you feel sorry for whoever is working with her.

Abduction Part 1 ***1/2
edwagreen20 February 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Dr. Hunt returns after a 3 month absence following the death of Peter.

She is immediately immersed in a case where a serial killer is murdering veterans.

Ethan seems to be more relaxed and even shows an outgoing facade in this season opener.

When the police murder the surgeon who strongly seemed to be the killer, you would think that this was the end of the story. On the contrary, it seems just to be the beginning with a cliff hanger ending finding Dr. Hunt's daughter kidnapped.

Is Dr. Murphey going to be running for Congress?

And this is why the show only lasted not even 3 seasons

Warning: Spoilers
I liked Peter, and the show just got rid of him. Not hurt, not retired but killed. Plus enough of the perfect doctor/investigator/CDC expert/FBI director / etc etc being abrasive is one thing, being a b#$&# and doing everyone else's job is another...........

This 2pt I had enough of Dr Hunts "Ego = Zero Street Smart"
radarfirs713 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Dana Dalany plays this "EGO" M.E. too well. Before I cover that, Question ... what ever happened to her "Medical Problems r/t her stopping being a Neuro Surgeon"???

She is often upset with her daughter not having enough street smarts r/t danger of being a teenager; but then does not have enough of the same Street smarts of staying out of dangerous situations? Sorry, worked with too many "Ego" types I have NEVER met any of them who would be able to understand the Dangers of a Teenager but not with their own ego. These types assume their own Children will have the same "Smarts / Ego" as them; and usually dont worry about their children or others. Dr Hunts Ego does show no worry about others by her own actions placing them into danger. Super Ego types like Dr Hunt are like a Horse with Blinders; this would also mean their blinders would be on r/t their children. Like at the Start of this episode, an Ego type like her when she was challenged for being at the scene would have shown her badge like she has in other episodes. The rest of this 2pt show Dr Hunt was consistent in showing an increase of her "EGO" in the situations. To the point of this "Super EGO" became inhuman. Usually when the Characters level of EGO increases this much ... the better shows also increase the Humor. Does not happen; am glad this was the last season. I will prob watch the next episode where it appears Dr Hunt gets some professional help ... I have actually gotten to the point I watch the show to more watch the other characters react to her like on M*A*S*H did with Major Burns, and Major Emerson. Yes, I have worked with "Super Ego" types in Healthcare, and Law Enforcement, and even with the worst the Politicians ... so if does not get help probably will stop watching this show. I do agree with Dr Hunt on one part ... the replacement of Peter ... she was either too new to be assigned with Dr Hunt, or more likely a Moron who also probably had NO skills on the "Protect" as a cop skills side also.
