"Are you going to say something?Or are you just going to bore me to death?"
skteosk27 November 2012
Warning: Spoilers
The opening scenes of Brax tracking Kyle down are hard to get involved with:Who exactly are we meant to sympathise with here?Things improve once they stop throwing wooden threats around and actually have a conversation, as we finally get some back story for Kyle and a bit more depth is added to the character, with his apparently psychotic behaviour coming across as largely bravado.Sadly, the deterioration of Natalie's character continues as she meekly goes along with everything Brax does to the point of running to hug and kiss him when for all she knows he's just murdered someone and only raises a token objection to his decision to run from the police.

In the same vein, we have Romeo and Indi.Having become addicted to steroids in record time, Romeo gets over it the moment he collapses.Sid is once more the voice of reason who's ignored by everyone and you get the feeling the writers intend him to be wrong."There's no quick fix," he tells Romeo but a couple of "I love you"s later Romeo and Indi are back in each other's arms as if the last six months never happened. Is this supposed to be a happy ending? It feels more like a betrayal.

Roo and Harvey are actually the least annoying thing about this episode but they're also the least interesting, with yet another example of characters leaving information they're trying to hide on a computer screen.
