Teri Polo Files Chapter 11
Polo, who currently stars on the ABC Family series The Fosters, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week, reported TMZ. The actress claimed in the filing that she owes roughly $772,000 in back taxes in addition to more than $36,000 in credit card debt.

There's no middle ground to Patricia Heaton's newest television effort: She's very happy to be a producer.
As she continues starring in ABC's Wednesday sitcom "The Middle," now in its fourth season, the two-time Emmy winner for "Everybody Loves Raymond" also is behind a project that's a family matter in several ways. Debuting Sunday, Dec. 2, the Hallmark Channel movie "The Christmas Heart" was written by Heaton's brother Michael, a reporter for the Cleveland Plain Dealer -- as was their late father, Chuck, a noted sportswriter.
"I think Michael's passion for his other writing comes from his being able do these kinds of stories," Heaton tells Zap2it. "As a journalist, you pretty much report facts, so to be able to spin this wonderful tale out of your imagination is sort of a nice outlet. We've had this story around for a long time; I talked about it in a meeting with Hallmark,...

Patricia Heaton isn't at all surprised that Ray Romano is one of television's three highest-paid actors.
"It's great," the current star of ABC's Wednesday comedy "The Middle" tells Zap2it about her former "Everybody Loves Raymond" work spouse, who placed behind $24-million-earning Ashton Kutcher and tied with Hugh Laurie at $18 million on Forbes Magazine's latest list of top moneymakers among TV stars.
"Ray and [writer-producer] Phil Rosenthal were the driving forces behind 'Raymond,' and they're really detail-oriented people," Heaton says. "Often, I get the question, 'How much did you ad-lib on "Everybody Loves Raymond"?' I'm actually asked that about 'The Middle,' too, and the answer is, 'Not one single word.' Not an 'and,' not a 'the.'
"Everything is word-for-word what the writers have written ... and if you don't get it right the first time, you've got to go back and do it again. That's because...
