Garbage. Poor Garbage
DisturbedPixie6 December 2012
It's just utter garbage. It starts off similar to how infomercials run. There is this host that seems skeptical, but really he is just here to make the eccentric guy look good.

The crazy guy explains that you can see all sorts of figures in mundane pictures of the darkness. Apparently this is happening all over New Orleans.

The pictures look like they are depicting typical stuff in the dark. At one point he shows a tree with a light behind it, and insists you can see a Jesus type figure with two darker figures next to it. They are obviously just random patterns that can appear like any number of things, but are nothing more than tree branches with a street light behind it.

Most of the time I saw nothing like what he was suggesting was there, and only a couple times did I feel creeped out by the images, but really, I am only human, and I naturally see patterns too, but I need not fear that these are spiritual figures.

This is similar to a college journal department's production youtube video, and is on Netflix right now under a shorter title, "Angels, Aliens, and Ufos". It is not with your time, because it isn't even funny. It's just kinda ticks you off. I'd prefer Penn and Teller's 8v11$h!+ episodes about ghost hunters and seeing divine faces in wood doors and such.

The "Spinal Tap" of UFO documentaries
ericco796 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I haven't written many reviews on here. I figure I can't say anything better than what someone else already put, but I had to for this one. Seriously, this is like a Christopher Guest movie! It's like watching Spinal Tap except with UFO enthusiasts.

So first you have a guy who goes out around a shipyard at night and takes pictures and films things. He also takes pictures of trees with street lights behind them. Then he comes back and points out all the "creatures" and "demons" you can see in these lights. I heard anything from "Jesus and two dark angels" to "A floating reptilian face watching a little dog". Come on! He is just picking out random shapes. Then they do some live action footage around the shipyard at night. I started to get my hopes up. They zoom in on a bright light going by. "That's definitely not an airplane". Really? Then how come there's flashing red and green lights to indicate port and starboard? Do aliens follow our nautical and air lighting patterns too? All it was was an airplane with it's landing light on.

It gets worse. Next you have some guy who has a 2 million candle power infrared beam and he puts on night vision goggles and points it at the sky. He waves the beam around and sees what are clearly dust particles in the air but he calls them "hundreds of spirits swarming around the beam". He even talks to them and says he sees blinding bright UFO's EVERY NIGHT, no matter WHERE HE IS. How come now else sees them?

The only section even remotely interesting was the one on the Petroglyphs. At least that guy seemed to know what he was talking about and if nothing else, gave a good history lessons of the Native Americans in that region.

God bless the director. It seems even he didn't know what he was getting into and you could tell he was DESPERATELY pretending to seem interested in the first two guys. If you want to be entertained by this, then by all means watch it. But it's far from scientific.

really?

The movie, as stated by an earlier reviewer, starts out like a badly produced infomercial. There is a guy, our narrator, who rambles on incoherently for a while about other dimensional beings and then he starts interviewing a guy that lives in New Orleans who has uncovered a dimension unseeable to the human eye. He explains that only when viewed through video do beings from this other dimension become recognizable. We are then treated to some of his video work - shots of cranes, helicopters, random lights, and other normal everyday things. All the while, I'm waiting for something 'other worldly' to appear, but it's just more and more video of the mundane with the narrator going on about all of this being proof that angels and aliens and whatnot walk the earth side by side with us.

First of all, I wasn't expecting much - just something to run in the background while I did other things. What I got was mind-boggling and stunningly bad in every way imagineable. Logic? Screw that. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, not the videos of cranes and helicopters and streetlights and other things seen everyday, but that someone could actually, with a straight face, make a movie about these things being manifestations of other-worldly entities or angels. I mean seriously, light shining through tree branches is proof that angels walk the earth? Admittedly, I didn't make it much past that, I was afraid my wife or kid would walk in and catch me watching it - it is that bad.

I agree with the other reviewer in that this is a good example of how anyone can be a filmmaker, even obviously insane people. If you must see it catch it on Netlix or Youtube, don't spend any money on it, you will without doubt regret it!

Wow I just had if someone sat through this...

So first off I'm sorry for you if you had to watch more than 15 minutes of this movie. This is a great example that anyone can make a documentary these days. I must say if you love clearly seeing a plane or helicopter flying in the air and people saying its a UFO and no proof that its either or then definitely watch this. Like the other review it looks like they got bored and filmed light from street lights for hours until something appeared. I have taken video or lightening storms before and many times images form in the clouds from the light, I wish I would have known that I could have made a documentary about it. I would at least made it funny so I would get 2 stars on this IMDb.

My Review Of "Angel, Alien And UFO Encounters From Another Dimension
ASouthernHorrorFan16 April 2013
"Angel, Alien and UFO Encounters from Another Dimension" is a documentary that searches for meaning in phenomenon known as orbs visual entities that appear on images collected by observers and individuals during unexplained light encounters, orbs or UFO's. This film seeks to tie all these paranormal elements with religious overtures and meaning. It is an attempt to somehow explain the unexplained, combine the irrational with the rational, or rectify some order to the natural state of chaos found in the universe. The documentary comes from Reality Entertainment.

As much as I despise the type of documentary that seeks to manipulate and persuade the viewer into a preconceived and biased point of view I have to say that "Angel, Alien and UFO Encounters from Another Dimension" was very informative and entertaining. The documentary exposed some truly interesting moments of unexplained phenomena as well as revealing some truly original and underexposed footage and interviewee's of this particular realm of the UFO world. Religious foretelling and Bible prophecy aside this film contains some truly new and compelling documented evidence that something truly extraordinary and profound is at work in the universe. Even though the host and company behind this documentary have differed opinion as to these experiences than I do this film was very entertaining and moving as to the actually material presented within.

Garbage.
xxcitruspunkxx23 January 2013
Complete garbage. It looks like a high school film project, conducted and narrated by someone who seems entirely too eager to believe everyday occurrences are inter-dimensional phenomena, and takes only the advice of an amateur film maker from New Orleans. Has a lot of big statements generalized and not supported by ANY evidence. Watch 10 minutes of this PoS and you'll understand. If you like watching street lights and helicopters for your paranormal fix this is the movie for you. If you like to see somewhat competent people try rational explanations of ACTUAL phenomena avoid this waste of time at all costs. Again, complete garbage. Don't waste your time, you've been warned.

I think its a propaganda film by Christian's to make paranormal things look bad.
bjt038412 January 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Like the other guy said, total garbage.

I would like to start off by saying I believe in the paranormal, but stuff like this makes me laugh. utter rubbish. All the videos except 1 were all digital, which means you can tamper with it and there is no proof you did. The only way to have a concrete video in the terms of you not tampering with it is to shoot it on film. Any pictures are no good as well if they are digital, you must use film to have any hope of being believed. Why do you think digital is getting so popular, and its harder and harder to find new film cameras for average consumer prices?

I could swear allot of the videos of "orbs" were bugs flying around, and very obvious as well. So called rods, were proved to be bugs, but because of interlacing video on digital cameras, and the effect of how the image is actually recorded creates that rod effect.

I do believe some pictures to hold actual UFO's or other paranormal things, and a few videos, but for someone who has never paid much attention to stuff like this, and then this is the first film they see, oh boy... they will think everyone who believes in this stuff are total idiots. people often forget UFO does not necessarily mean from outer space, and paranormal just means out of the ordinary.

I wish i could talk do these guys who made it and ask them what the hell was the real reason they made this film... Using some police psychology techniques into micro-expressions.. if you pay close attention, especially at the part where he is with the kid at the rocks with the petroglyph's, near the end of their interview you can see the kid trying to hold back a smile, as well as the Grey haired man... have a look for yourself, almost like they are thinking "oh sh*t, i can hardly keep a straight face.. As if people are supposed to buy this garbage...."

anyway... TERRIBLE. NEVER MAKE A MOVIE AGAIN
