"Un mundo para Raúl" or "A World for Raúl" is a 15-minute live action short film from 2012. It is the most known work by Swiss-Mexican filmmaker Mauro Mueller and this was his final work from his studies in America, so you also have the three countries attached to this little movie. Make sure you get subtitles if you aren't fluent in the Spanish language. Anyway, the better option is probably to skip it completely and not watch it as I thought the longer it goes the more of a failure this film becomes. The two protagonists are no great actors, but what's even worse is that they have zero chemistry really. How are we supposed to believe they were friends at some point. No laughing, no smiling during their interactions. Realistically, they'd have nothing to do with each other. Oh yeah and what happens after one character pushes down the other under water that he can't breathe? They start fondling each other('s man boobs) in the pool of course. That's of course also the kind of material that gets your movie on the embarrassingly bad "Boys on Film" series. I've seen enough. Minor thumbs-up for the dad actor who is the only somewhat interesting aspect about this film at the very beginning and end. Boo Student Film Oscars? What were you thinking here? Sending a message that absolutely every movie can triumph in this category I assume. Boo. Boo. Boo. Don't watch.
