"Wasted Potential: An Underdog's Journey Hindered by Amateurish and Outdated Direction"
allwinjoelk19 January 2024
"Vakkantham Vamsi has penned a promising and original script, perfect for a captivating fictional action film. However, the director's outdated approach, treating the film more like a reality show, introduces unnecessary commercial elements such as a lackluster love track, cringe-worthy comedy, unimpressive action sequences, and poorly choreographed songs. The cast's tendency towards overacting further diminishes the impact. A potential improvement could have been achieved by transforming it into a character-driven, non-commercial art film with a different lead actor, enhancing the overall quality and aligning it more with the film's potentially extraordinary title."

Cringe story , worst timing for villan and hero headache movie.movie references is good it gives hype and rest all movie sleep.lag movie a worst script I have ever seen worst movie in Nithin's life.some better 1st half comedy Rajasekhar doesn't suit in this movie as a cop. Villain character needed much more characterization he doesn't deserve as a villain in this movie.nithin doesn't choose a better script .i suggest better to not watch the movie.sreelela has done better when compared to movie worst songs.my final conclusion for this movie is worst movie worst writing. Main drawback is between hero and villain characterization.

Worst movie of my lifetime
deepssan28 January 2024
Worst movie that I ever watched in my life. Waste of time, i have severe headache after watching this movie, it just makes us mad. I am just thinking how can someone make such movies. Please stop making such movies. First half is little better and fun, rest of the movie makes us mad. Bad direction, please do not create such movies in the name of comedy. I wonder how even actors have accepted to do such movie. It is so frustrating to watch such movie, my peace of mind is lost after watching this movie. We watch movies for entertainment but such movies gives us headache. Please stop making such movies.

Well executed comedy movie with unexpected twists
shekbhi22 January 2024
This movie addressed many technical aspects very well and did justice to the story. However, the casting for the IG character didn't suit the story much and took away the seriousness of that character. Nitin and Srileela did great job along with all the supporting cast. This movie is definitely a good entertainment for an easy going group and definitely shouldn't be watched with high expectations. Nitin's acting has improved significantly and the parents characters acted by. Both Rohini Molleti and Rao Ramesh have acted pretty well and entertained the audience throughout the movie. The villain character portrayed by Sudev Nair could have been better.

Silly but entertaining.
raviankam52521 January 2024
The film, undeniably entertaining, offers a two-hour escape into amusement, despite the occasional inclusion of seemingly illogical scenes. To fully relish this cinematic experience, viewers are encouraged to momentarily set aside the pursuit of logic and embrace the light-hearted fun it promises. The lead actor delivers a commendable performance, complemented by the sheer beauty of the heroine. However, the portrayal of the hero's father tends to verge on the excessive, while Srikanth Ayyangar's role, though fitting, remains relatively inconsequential.

Adi and Brahmaji's second foray into comedy proves noteworthy. Sampath's impeccable comic timing further enhances the comedic elements. The songs, with the exception of one, can be easily overlooked, while the energetic dance sequences by the heroine remain a consistent highlight.

RajShekar's role, while not significantly impactful, potentially lays the groundwork for diverse roles in his future endeavors. The movie, while interspersed with numerous silly scenes, manages to salvage them within the context of comedy. It is, overall, a worthwhile one-time watch suitable for family audiences, promising an enjoyable experience.

Protagonist's characterization deserves more recognition
kothapallibalaganesh21 January 2024
Telugu cinema has only few writers who are quite adept at amalgamating quirkiness within the story and be able to harness it to unlock the potential of screenplay and Vakkantham Vamsi is one of them.

The justification of the title "Hero playing an extra in films and the dichotomy of it being an ordinary job, birthing to Extraordinary Man title" is a testament to director's explicit style.

Gladly, actor Nithin who surprisingly belongs to the same tribe off late, collaborates with Vamshi to deliver a quirky, relatable breezy film with a very ambitious yet underwhelming second half.

It might not work out well throughout, but Extraordinary Man has it moments. Vakkantham Vamsi's unconventional proclivity towards creating a fictious second half where Hero assumes an identity and pushes the fellow characters into oblivion actually thwarts the film's potential to be unique and ends up feeling stretched.

Nonetheless, the film has it bright moments, soaring above all is the Protagonist's characterization which stands tall in the first half as an extremely optimistic human being who stays impervious to countless slurs and comments hurled at him by the society and family alike.

In this film, Vakkantham Vamsi flaunts his greatest strength i.e. Hero characterization and hits a bullseye with it. Wish we could have a spin off on hero's journey as an extra alone.

Nithin proves to be irreplaceable in his role as a hustling extra and incites positivity through his palpable performance. The sound, especially songs of the film's, exalt the film's standards leaving in wanting more.

There are many things in the film I wish the film the Filmmaker would've done differently. More emphasis on hero's characterization, juxtaposition of "screenplay within screenplay" act in the second half and better usage of supporting characters. Perhaps, Vakkantham Vamsi should follow his instincts and furnish his filmmaking prowess more and go ahead, success will eventually follows. Nonetheless, the writer deserves highest praise for designing a character who brushes off all the negativity around thrown at him and continues to pursue his dream with smile. Wish the film dwelled more on it and made the hero more three dimensional.

In conclusion, Extraordinary Man offers what it promises, and deserves a watch!!!

Special mention to the song "Brush Vesko" for it's stunning cinematography, vibrant costumes, dexterous production design, ruminating lyrics, nifty choreography, protagonist's appearance, harmonious tune and stupendous sound quality.

They don't orchestrate songs like these anymore. I wish they had.

Gonna cherish this song for a long time.

Works in parts ,but provides full entertainment
lalith-5098222 January 2024
Guys honestly speaking we have a lot of people watching daily shows and soap operas . They are often inconsistent and often very monotonous .Yet people are so addicted to it seldom get bored of them shows, After watching the trailer of this movie I personally thought this movie would be an addition to those stupid shows . But I'm glad that the movie has completely disappointed me . The comedy in this movie was so Organic that it made me wonder if I was watching "Bheeshma" . Also they included many of the Instagram reels and trends into dialogues which made it more watchable. Though It had(same old TFI overhyped) fights it was fine till the interval block where I suspected that the director lost the grip of the film and second half will be reckless. But again I was disappointed because the comedy in the later half was ample enough to get us of our seats with a smile . Now the heroine has nothing to offer except for few songs which were not even catchy and the antagonist is shown lacking wit. But you will only notice that until you see an unprecedented cameo appearance of a former star. Overall this movie goes well with Race Gurram , Doosukelta,Dhee and Bheeshma, where there is no wit or logic but gives full entertainment.
