2023 has already been a great year for anime openings but its best anime opening so far isn't actually for a new show it's for Kaguya-sama's movie. This may seem surprising given some of the excellent OPs shows like Hell's Paradise and Vinland Saga have put forth. But unfortunately for them, the new Kaguya-sama: Love is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends- Op completely outclasses them.
The new Op was created for a broadcast of the superb Kaguya-sama movie that splits it into individual episodes. The new opening has a movie-level quality of animation, flowing seamlessly from one scene to the next accompanied by the silky voices of Masayuki Suzuki and Reni Takagi singing "Love is Show".
