Pieces are Coming Together--Or Are They?

Starting with where we were left, I say again how brilliant it was to add Reba to the cast this season. That last ballad--chills.

But it's more than that with Reba or with any in this year's main mystery.

Every cast member gives 100% and the writing is top notch, too.

I'm enjoying how the relationships are unfolding without feeling rushed or forced. This goes both for romantic interests and friendships/partnerships, too.

(EDIT: I say that then hear that this is about when the writers were forced to speed up as the network failed to order the back half of the series. So we'll see how they change to accommodate ABC's mistake.)

And the plot twists keep me coming back to find the show to stream (It's on a night I can never manage to make live.)

I'm worried for Cassie, most, though Beau is in danger (both by plot and, unfortunately being a "guest") I'm not worried and actively rooting to kill off Avery (good job, Henry Ian Cusick)

Anyway, will recommend. It's worth a watch.

    • Goofs
In the United States, professional criminals do not target law enforcement for the very simple reason that the risk is never worth the reward. Police departments will donate unlimited resources to solving the murder of fellow officers and will pursue cop killers around the globe and for decades in order to catch them. No possible reward is worth that hassle. Once the hit man discovered that Beau was a Sheriff he would have simply surrendered and accepted arrest as the cost of doing business.

Sheriff Beau Arlen: [to Carla having just arrived at Beau's trailer] Hey.

Carla De Lugo: [about Emily] Hey. Thanks so much for taking her.

      Sheriff Beau Arlen: Um-hm.

Carla De Lugo: Em, I brought breakfast for you.

Emily Arlen: [to her Dad in they earlier having talked about her only eating stale cereal] Oh my God!

Sheriff Beau Arlen: [under his breath back to Emily] There you go.

Carla De Lugo: [to Emily] It's in the car.

Emily Arlen: If you need to talk to Dad, just say that.

      Carla De Lugo: "That".
