One of the worst
rezza612 July 2023
Hallmark movies repeats actors and plots a lot and sometimes that is OK. Most of the time, they are predictable but not horribly so. This movie is one of the worst I've seen as the characters are either pathetic or simply angry/stubborn/rude people. There is absolutely nothing that would make me watch a movie with the main actress again. With so many great actors everywhere, why use this one? Hallmark is an American company, why don't they use American actors? Are Canadian actors that much cheaper? Is this all about money? Get better writers and actors, PLEASE!!! And since the movie was filmed in Canada, admit so, don't pretend to be in the US. All Hallmark movies pretending to depict US, especially California are simply ridiculously annoying. Canada has its beauty but it will never be California.

Better Than Hallmark Movies
crystal-viola4520 July 2023
I loved the story, it was creative and wasn't the typical plots we are used to for this genre. The actors were good, especially Eva Tavares, she was so vibrant and did her role justice. The supporting roles were nice too, and the ending was nice.

The best part about this production company -Reel One Entertainment- is how clean their movies are, and that they are agenda free.

This is -so far- the best romantic comedy that I have watched for this year, hopefully Reel One Entertainment will come up with more movies like this one, because this company is my go to since I stopped watching Hallmark movies.

Great Hallmark Film
HallmarkLover19922 June 2023
Love Served Here is one of the best Hallmark films I've seen.

The plot involves Emma, a young and ambitious chef, who is passed over for a promotion at her restaurant. She bets her boss - who it seems has a gambling addiction - that if she can turn around a struggling restaurant, her boss will promote her. This is how Emma meets Joe, he owner of his eponymous restaurant. Joe is the anthesis of Emma - carefree and disorganized - and as Emma teaches Joe how to improve his restaurant, he teaches her how to relax. And yes, how to fall in love.

Emma and Joe's acting is phenomenal. But what really makes this film stand out in a sea of other Hallmarks is the screenwriting. There are subtle character nuances woven into the story, hilarious dialogue - and it is overall a heartwarming film with more depth than a typical Hallmark. More like this please, Hallmark!

Surprisingly Loved It!

I don't typically watch, or even enjoy, Hallmark films, but felt compelled to leave a review for this one.

Love Served Here is about a young chef, Emma, who bets her boss that she can turn around the worst restaurant in the city. In exchange, she will receive a promotion. Enter Joe - the owner of the worst restaurant, and Emma's new love interest.

The excellent dialogue between these two main characters keeps you engaged throughout, with witty exchanges and heartfelt conversations. Though, in my opinion, some of the supporting characters don't always hit their mark (in particular, Emma's best friend, Sarah.)

Admittedly, the film moves a bit fast at times, but as Emma tries to save Joe's restaurant, you're enthralled in her journey of both culinary and emotional ups and downs. The heartwarming ending serves as a reminder of the power of love and second chances.

Overall, Love Served Here is a delightful Hallmark film that serves up a charming romance with a side of humor. A must-watch for fans of feel-good romantic comedies!
