This episode ''Pilot'' does very well introducing all the key elements to the first episode, characters all have their moral dilemmas, we get a main character who's name we don't know and won't be revealed for the time being. I'll call him John Smith for the time being he comes out of prison , his mind to returning where ever Carrie - Anastasia is located with her new life. Second important and banter wise great character is introduced ''Job'' the hacker magician. I usually hate hacker TV tropes but in this case that is forgiven. Job leads John back to Banshee where she is located.
His life becomes changed with one single decision , it happens in the bar where the real Lucas Hood dines in and he is eating his warm stake, when 2 Proctor's guys come in and it doesn't go well in the gunfight, the Sheriff dies from a gunshot wound and after dumping all the bodies with barman Sugar Bates and fake ''Lucas'' now for the time being, takes the sheriff's phone and decides to be under a lawman identity. His adventure in the small town Banshee is beginning.
This episode belong side those storyline introduces a great characters like Kai Proctor who has the judge under his pocket and town is under fear from him.
