Safety helmet!

Warning: Spoilers
Good movie but a rider not wearing a safety helmet sends the wrong message especially a rider with a head injury.

A ridiculous example of poor safety actions
skpn12331 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
We start off with whining "why did God put me through this' when she had continual forgetful and late moments and on this occasion drove a vehicle while talking on the phone thus risking herself and others. Then no safety helmet when horse riding.....

There is no reason or excuse for these breaches and no sense of remorse or self-responsibility......

For those of us who have lost loved ones to such drivers, this total disregard for safety and the lives of others is a bitter reminder......

Great movie

Warning: Spoilers
This was a very enjoyable and inspirational movie especially considering that it is low budget and very limited distribution. It deserves more. It deals well with tough issues that we go through in life. Acting was good. From my experiences of raising a daughter who loved dance herself when she was younger and has encountered many physical difficulties chief of which was brain surgery at age 12, it very much hit home with me. I can relate as she is in her 20s and still dealing with disappointments that are the result of the effects of that surgery and we are continuing to support her. She, also, has not been able to achieve what she set out to do. Our trust that God in His love has His own plan for our lives, which may be quite different than the course we would have plotted for ourselves.

Inspirational and well acted! I can't recommend this movie enough!
Healed by Grace is a powerful film that offers valuable life lessons, such as perseverance, determination, and loving your enemies. Not to mention, just from a personal standpoint, I think it's cool to watch because it's like going down the road of nostalgia. I was a sophomore in college in 2012, just like the characters in the film. So I can say from experience - with the exception of the dancing, because I was taking golf lessons - this was an accurate portrayal of how 19 year olds behaved during that time. Watching brought back memories of the emotional roller coaster that accompanied being 19, which I'm happy is over (I still experience confusion over my feelings sometimes, but it's not intense like it used to be). Although, I do miss being younger.

Natalie Weese plays Riley Adams, a young woman who aspires to be a professional dancer. She wins first place in a regional competition and has a shot at the finals, but she gets into serious car accident (that was her fault, by the way, because she was talking on her cell phone while she was driving) that leaves her with brain contusions. Her doctor suggests equine therapy, so she can regain her motor skills. She tries to make a full recovery before nationals, but experiences substantial frustration. She's devastated over the possibility of never being able to dance again. Over time she realizes what God has in store for us might not be what we want, and that's perfectly okay. Outstanding and believable performances from all of the actors and actresses. This is a great movie to watch when you find you just need inspiration or motivation.
