WHAT AN ENDING

I really love the pilot episode, it's funny and entertaining. It built my curiosity about the series and made me constantly watch it. Although the next episode isn't funny as the first episode, it is still interesting to watch. The plot story is good, the acting is great, and the pace is not slow so I don't get bored at all.

But it has so many characters that are part of the story and connected by one to another, it made me hard to remember it all, and end up not being caught by the story. However, it's not a problem for me IF THE ENDING can satisfy me by explaining the story and not solving the main problem LIKE THAT. I mean, WHAT IS THAT? The story from the 1st episode to 6th is so good so I am really disappointed they made the ending that way. OH, and don't talk about THE very last scene... bruh, they really don't know where to stop, don't they? Why make it complicated? 😩

Regret of his youth

On paper, this show is not all that attractive. Main character being an old and slow detective. His past is mired with murky, complicated regrets and/or mistakes.

The mystery and deaths that surrounds him is never really clearly explained. And that could be frustrating. There are two strong sidekicks and another obviously suspicious partner.

Supposedly a show in two parts. All the technicals are excellent. Bgm, photography, acting, pacing.... Etc. So the overall effect keeps drawing me in. The lead actor has always been solid and here no exception.

Onto the second part now and the mystery continues. There are a few new characters and old memories. Although with a clearer mission now. Hope the ending is carefully planned and executed.

---- Season 2, episode 7 ---- Ahhhh ok. It all makes sense now. Why the old cop always survives and is never a target of the hidden entity.

Great Detective Drama

I really enjoyed this show. The pilot episode made it seem like it would be campy or comical, but in reality it was a very serious and intense show. I enjoyed the mystery involved and the tense drama of it. The characters were well-acted and the story drew me in and I had to binge watch it. Even the "background" characters of the show really help to shape the story and make it feel more alive. You really find yourself rooting for the main character and even with the subtitles it's hard not to get drawn into it. The story sort of keeps you guessing and gives almost nothing away. I would really love to see a season 2.
