I discovered Golshifteh with the (disapointing) Ridley Scott's movie « bodies of lies » and since, she is at my eyes the best actress who embodies middle-east! I like her simple, gentle way and the spleen, dreamy attitude she feels. This short movie is directed by her past french boyfriend who also plays a part. It's not that much original or interesting but the Parisian locations really speaks to me : Psychiatric Hospital Sainte Anne, Champ De Mars. The moment her boyfriend shoots at her is worth watching because it's really painful. Otherwise, it's a french movie but with a time of 15 minutes, it's watchable ! At last, you can watch it as the first short draft of his future long feature, called 2 friends and involving once again the same 3 friends !
