When teenager Shougo Mikadono's father, head of the Mikadono Group of companies, dies he is told that he is to take over the group; there are a couple of catches though... firstly he must transfer to the Miryuuin Academy and find a suitable to marry before he graduates and secondly a voice calls to him at his father's funeral announcing that she is his illegitimate sister and she intends to marry him!! As he only hears but doesn't see her the first task will be rather difficult as he naturally doesn't want to end up married to his half sister!
When he gets to school he quickly starts to attract girls and just as quickly starts getting phone calls from a girl claiming to be his sister and be at the school; as the phone has a voice modifier he still has no idea who it is. As the series progresses he manages to eliminate some of the girls as possible his possible sister but with so many girls interested in him things still aren't easy and later it becomes clear that there are people working against him to ensure he never takes over the Mikadono Group.
This series wasn't as bad as the early episodes made me fear; the possibility of incest and a lot of gratuitous nudity in the opening couple of episodes was a bit off putting but I stuck with it and the fan service seemed to reduce slightly and it became clear that nothing was going to happen between him and the girls even when they threw themselves at him. There is a reasonable amount to laugh at if you don't mind harem shows although most of the gags have sexual overtones: people think he is involved with a male student but she is in fact his female bodyguard; a girl is overheard making apparently sexual noises but she is just being tickled.. that sort of thing. The ending is a little bit weak as it just features an antagonist being exposed then his true sister explaining everything to him in a less than dramatic fashion. The characters are fairly generic in appearance but well animated and the show certainly looked good. If you can get past the fan service this series passes the time well enough but it certainly isn't a must see show unless you are a connoisseur of harem comedies! After the twelfth and final episode there is a preview of 'episode thirteen'; whether there will be a second series or this is a reference the OVA mentioned on Widipedia I don't know; I suspect that latter as I don't think the plot could sustain a second series.
