"Key of Brown" tells the story of a young woman, who is forced to prostitute herself and finds herself in the middle of a lot of trouble when one of her customers turns out to be a serial killer, which leads to a series of discouraging events, leaving her with a few dead bodies and a need for an alibi.
I have to say that I don't really share or understand the harsh ratings on this film. It is surely no blockbuster but at least the producers come up with a storyline that is not just a further repitition of something already existent. Towards the ending sequences, the plot becomes a bit too unrealistic for my taste, at least the last murder wouldn't have been necessary, but however the actions of the characters remain plausible and the crew takes their film serious.
All in all this is a nice alternative to all the big scaled thriller movies, not perfect but authentic and with quite a few twists. Nothing to be awarded but something that calls for respect for the producers, who made much out of a small budget.
