This is a sequel to Chris Seaver's 2009 film Terror At Bloodfart lake
LizardKing9705113 May 2012
This is a sequel to Chris Seaver's 2009 film Terror At Bloodfart lake in which the survivors of the first film (and a couple who didn't survive) return to Bloodfart Lake when it's discovered that the killer Jimmy Van Brunt may still be alive... or undead as it were. I should mention that I am a big fan of Seaver's LBP films and was sad to hear that he would be quitting the biz and have the understanding that this is going to be his last film. With that said he shouldn't go out on this note because this film was a complete waste of time, it had little of the humor that the first film had and it seemed as though the script was thrown together in a matter of minutes. The usual LBP staples were present such as Merideth Host, Jesse Ames, Billy Garberina and the always hilarious Josh Suire but even his usually hilarious Leo DeChamp character couldn't save this stink nugget. Seavage I beg you not to go out on this note, keep up the good works and ignore the haters.

Actual quote from the movie: "it makes me want to s*** all over myself"
psjimmy27 September 2022
It's so awful in every way. Truly an anomaly. I have no clue how they managed to make every line uttered by the cast to be worse than the last. I would say that Prime needs to take this off their service, but this is something to behold. A raging cringe fest that you'll think will never end. They were clearly going for a horror/comedy B-movie type thing, but everyone is so blissfully unaware of how unfunny they are, that it's lowkey kind of sad. At 72 minutes long, if you're looking for something to make yourself feel better about where you're at in life, give this a shot and lift your spirits, because there's no way things will get so bad that you participate in the creation of a movie like this.

About What You Would Expect
sarahmichelleheide18 November 2014
The quality of this movie is about what you would expect from a movie with a title like "Return to Blood Fart Lake." Apparently this is a sequel to a movie called (surprise surprise) "Terror at Blood Fart Lake" where they supposedly kill the psycho murderer at the end. I haven't seen that one and suppose that maybe I would have enjoyed this movie more if I had seen that one first. There do seem to be a number of "inside jokes" in it.

Anyway (again surprise surprise) the killed isn't actually dead at all so they return (because like most people in horror movies they are intensely stupid and choose to run TOWARD the danger) to find out if it's true and to finish the job.

Not much to say. Some terrible acting, cheesy predictable deaths, bad jokes and stupid writing, then they kill the killer. Or do they? I guess it depends on whether they make enough money selling this stink bomb to do a third movie.

I hope not.

Never make another film again
tattooedshortstop22 October 2021
Anyone involved with this "movie" need to retire and never make another movie again. The amount of drugs one must have been on to think this was funny or genius or a good idea in general is mind boggling. I see that someone has reviewed it as another Seaver classic. That is obviously Seaver himself as no one with an IQ above 1 would think this is a classic. This movie is complete trash.

The kind of film that makes you feel stupider for watching it
Leofwine_draca15 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
RETURN TO BLOOD FART LAKE is yet another example of the extreme trash churned out by budget filmmaker Chris Seaver. It's an unwanted sequel to the original non-event, in which the supposedly killed killer from the first film returns to menace a cast of new and recurring characters. It's crass and crude, full of stupid humour and worse acting that'll have you tearing your eyeballs out at the sheer stupidity of it all.

Even worse that the original.

Warning: Spoilers
It wasn't just bad, it was torturous. There was nothing funny, nothing redeeming, no good gore, nothing. I hate myself for watching it. I can't think of any reason to recommend this to anyone. I was expecting some kills, or bad campy dialogue but denied all of that. There was a character that died in the first film, and I thought there would be some witty funny line to address her return... nope. She was just back. There was a break dance battle between two people who couldn't break dance. They blew their budget on corn cobs, wigs, and fake mustaches. Why did I watch this after voluntarily watching the first?

Another Seaver classic.

Seaver is a freaking genius. His use of hilarious, obscure references and a great ska soundtrack makes for one of the best sequels ever. There are two minor problems with this movie though. Gwen died in the first movie and is somehow back with no explanation and Ben(who was the only person who didn't over act in the first movie), is the biggest over actor in the sequel. Those issues don't really hurt.the movie though.
