What an awesome show!

I'm so happy to see a positive, uplifting show for once! Coach Denny is teaching these kids how to live a positive, faith filled life. The players are respectful and willing to work hard, with great head coaches leading the way. With all the gutters filled TV shows out there today, this is such a refreshing series to watch.

It's not often we get to see shows like this and I wish there were more series like this. Coach Denny and his team are inspirational in their work ethic and learning from not only the wins but the losses as well.

We need MORE shows like this! I hope it gets renewed so we can continue to follow their journey!

"God. Family. Football." is a heartwarming and motivating docuseries that focuses on the journey of the Evangel football team and their head coach, Denny Duron. The backdrop of Evangel's challenging 2020 season, where they faced a difficult record of 0-9, sets the stage for a powerful story of redemption and determination. I stumbled onto this show and then just could not stop watching. It's honest and positive. I love how they didn't cut out when players got angry and acted out. It shows that although we are Christian's we aren't perfect and won't pretend to be. I love the example this gives to younger kids. My son who breathes football at 8 will be watching this with me when I return from my work trip. It shows faith in God but understanding it's all Gods timing. Just have to keep faith and press on. I love sharing the family stories and the diversity of the school. It's light and not so heavy. It's a breath of fresh air and doesn't leave you emotionally drained.

It was so refreshing getting to watch a show that glorified God, encouraged upright priorities & goals, and not worldly trash. They are preparing these boys for their future not just high school football so that when they have families of their own they will be that anchor, that leader and be present. America is lacking fathers and husbands who prioritize God and family. I think even though we only see a glimpse into the school they are on the right track. I think it is beneficial for teens to have another option that's clean instead of the constant bombardment of nonsense, self centered, sinful, worldly trash tv and social media entertainers.

Living in times where it seems like the world is against Christianity AND there's so much division among races, this true documentary allows the best of us to shine. You will feel better about people after each episode. This inspiriting story has the viewer wanting to "do better" while reminding us that we're not really that different. It also inspires us to want to win!!

The central theme is overcoming adversity, whether it's challenges in football, family, health, or even special needs. The relationships within the football program between coaches and players is endearing. The viewer is also reminded that there are still many good kids wanting to do good things for other people AND be great stewards in their community. WATCH THESE KIDS OVERCOME AND WATCH THIS COACH (and former NFL player) BE A POSITIVE LIGHT IN SO MANY LIVES!!!

Coach Duron is what every High School Coach should be. Tough but positive. In the face of a loss looking forward not back. Mr he players are real people with life's issues as they grow and mature with hopes aspirations and realities staring them in the face.

It is a show all of us can relate to. There is a heavy dose of faith and family too! But in a good way.

It has great balance and I can't wait to see how the remaining players advance in the next season.

This show is such a change from the depravity we see all over Tv and Movies. Kudos to the players coaches Amazon and the producers. Loved it!

A combo of faith, family, and football is unbeatable!

Football season is here and you will love watching this series! "God. Family. Football" features Evangel Christian Academy football team with Coach Denny Duron.

High School football is ranked right up with college or pro football in many communities and you will see that camaraderie and sense of family when you watch this docu-series. After having the worst season in their history, the return of legendary Coach/Pastor Denny Duran brings a new hope to the boys as he molds them into outstanding young men... and football players. His motto of, "God first, family second, and football third" is a winning strategy makes an impact that influences the players, and will make a difference in their lives.

The background stories and honesty as the viewer gets to know the boys draws you in to the series, and some football action added leads to an interesting series the whole family can enjoy.

Denver Broncos Quarterback Russell Wilson is the executive producer of the series.
