I loved this when it came out and almost bought the DVD. I undid my purchase when I realized that it had no soundtrack other than English, having only closed caption in other languages. Since we have built a missionary in Peru, I so want this to be part of the library down there and have been waiting for Burnett to release a Spanish dubbed version. He committed this many years ago, and I am told that it aired on Telemundo, but yet I can't find the Spanish dubbed DVD's anywhere to purchase .. why? Please advise ... shame that this market has really been underexposed on this movie in it's Spanish dubbed version. If it were available in Spanish I would give this a 9 or 10 for sure.

Five Part Mini Series of Ten Hours!

Well glad that this is with ten hours of a five part mini-series. As you just could not stretch it out in a movie of two hours.
As Mark Burnett the producer of Survivor and creator, does the same here with his actress wife, Roma Downey. As both choose unknown actors and actresses to make the characters a lot more believable.
Seeing that you are seeing the Bible coming to life. Beginning with Moses and how he went from being a fugitive and killing someone. To being redeemed by God and being one of the very first of His Disciples.
And how he helped to save God's people from the brutal Egyptians and the leader and Moses brother, Pharoah. And how despite the tough things that he and the Israel people were facing, God helped them as well as parting the Red Sea.
Along with giving of the Ten Commandments. As well as Noah's Ark and the flooding.
But really wished that they would start with Adam and Eve and the beginning of where God created all of the earth in six days! That is what is missing.
Other than that, really a great beginning!
