I really love Turkish dizis, love Alepren, the male lead and female lead is so beautiful although she's not multi-faceted, come off so cold. The series is well shot, super dramatic, like most Turkish TV but the story line is a bit outrageous. It's so hard to root for the leads because of just how twisted and selfish they are. The sane principled person seemed to be the fiancee to me, now she's being made the crazy scheming one. How can anyone agree to such an agreement? Maybe I just like rooting for people who go to great lenghts to keep their honour.....Anyway, will still watch to see how the story pans out. I'll try finish it but it doesn't give you the good feels, no dopamine high in this one yet.

I've watched till episode 3 and some parts of episodes 4 & 5. I understand it's a remake of a Korean series which I did not watch. In fact this series reminded me of the Hollywood movie Indecent Proposal which I could not finish because I didn't like it. This series is slightly boring, predictable, the main characters are not likeable and lacking in certain good virtues. How can a good human being intentionally propose such a proposition when you know it will hurt others? How can the person accept such a proposal and not think there will be consequences on his loved one? So, the story is spinner off on this indecent proposal. Alperen is a good actor and I like seeing his acting. Melissa as Sibel is rather wooden, moody and brooding. The supporting casts don't seem to stand out much and thus I get very distracted and easily bored as I watch the series. Think I will stop as I've been forwarding so much in episodes 4 & 5. Sometimes even good chemistry between 2 main roles can't help an average series.

As a Turkish films addict. This series was next right after I finished watching Zemheri series (lead actor as Alperen too). I don't know if I'm rooting my views on my experience with Zemheri. But, the twists in this are not captivating, am at episode 7, and still not sure what and where the story is heading. I find it rather boring, supposed lead couple has zero chemistry. Maybe Erkan and Sibel have some spark(my interest duo) so far.
Still following the series to know the full content of the mystery contract "three days" stay on the mountain hs. Just a little suspense. Hoping a satisfying ending.

I've stopped watching turk shows for a while now and EGO is what made me start again .. This show is incredible , the cast is amazing , the storyline is great it keeps you wanting to watch even more and more .. I just finished watching ep. 7 and now I can't wait another week for the other episode .. The chemistry between the characters is just unbelievable, Melisa and Aleperen are both very talented and they know really well how to make their characters come alive .. I really hope this show doesn't become a prey of ratings , because Fox channel is very known about cancelling shows with low rating.

The series is a good the acting is reality based n it deals with deep human emotion sadness . It has no violence a cliché rom com but the Turkish writer has taken it apart n given this romcom a new meaning esp with Alperen zwho is an excellent actor n Melisa who is a realist n the romance between the two leads dazzles with chemistry. Their looks n facial expression is all so beautiful n very realistic. I don't understand Turkish i always watch it as soon as it arrives even without subs but i understand the emotions between the two i think that comes from great talent which Turkey has so beautiful. Words fail to express the admiration towards their acting skills. This show and its story is based on emotions no gun family war revenge war etc. Its a winner of our hearts half way across the world it teaches humanity love is the be all n end all of life.

"I really can't believe it. The people who write reviews must be completely IQless, or maybe it's just me who doesn't understand anything. Giving this show a rating of 10 is like watching porn, it's ridiculous.
First of all, there's too much bad relationship in the show, it's like everyone is sleeping with each other. It's as if they're making a mockery of our intelligence. They sacrifice all values just to make the woman look powerful. It can't be a good sexual thriller or a normal TV show because they keep everything at a level where no one will be offended, resulting in a chaotic mess.
It's really hard to describe without using profanity. What kind of acting and production is this? What is happening, for God's sake? It's just getting worse with each episode. The events in the show are just a joke, it's like everyone is just betray(sexually) to each other.
My dear fellow citizens, there are many other things worth watching, so please don't support this. Does female empowerment mean buying men with money? Does female empowerment mean sleeping with the sister of the woman you're seeking revenge against? And all of this happens while everything revolves around this family, like they're in a bubble. It's so artificial and contrived that I can't even explain it.
This is a terrible production, and I hope that such productions will decrease because it's so sad, frustrating, and disappointing."

THIS IS SUCH A GOOD TURKISH DRAMA, I love everything about it, I do hope erhan and sibel stay together. When I first Started it, I was intrigued into how sibel was the main character she is very beautiful and very independent and always caring for others and understanding of situations especially when it can't to finding out about elif being pregnant, I hope she does get her happy ending and erhan does stay with her because they are a really good match, so far the episode are soo good, I can't wait for episode 8 it is getting more better each episode I watch. I do hope erhan knows sibel is right for him.

There is very little artistic aspect of this TV series so I will comment on the plot. This far it is just awful. There is a line in the episode that goes "you will hardly have a grandson when your son is rarely at home" (the son mentioned is the husband of the woman who says this) (this is said while at dinner table) "it your (wife's) duty to keep you husband at home." wtf is this? This is the choice of plot that producers want to air??
Even the title of the series is so cringe, (NTM : No Trust a Man). Producing such a show and airing it on TV is just humiliating. I cringed many many times watching 30 min of this.

The chemestry between Erhan and Sibel is fantastic and every episode has unexpected twists of events and momente that make Erhan and Sibel realize that they will eventually fall in love with eachother, being a passional couple.
Even the other characters have stories of their own and they complement the plot perfectly. The chemestry between the main protagonists will 100% make you feel like you have to know what will happen next and waiting for a week to find what will happen next will feel almost Impossible.
I highly recommend you to watch this series If You are fond of passional romantic series that have drama and twists of events that will keep You interested.

This show is one of the worst that I've seen on tv. I can't believe they're actually spending time into creating a show like this...it's very cold and slow and the plot is just boring. The actors obviously have not practiced their clips well. Acting is bad and the whole plot is just bad and plain...don't waste your time watching this. I've been watching two episodes so far and it seems like it is not going anywhere so that's why I looked it up to see if people are agreeing with me. I only liked the small story of the singer with her son, that was about it. Sibels acting is very cold and her brother makes no sense whatsoever. This is just plainly bad.

What I loved the most is that there's no "good" or "bads" all the characters have flaws, which brings a new story to the gig.
All the stories are great, and you don't who to support because they all make good things as well as make mistakes that cost them their stability.
What's more this Tv series brings us plot twist and you're so captivated by the settings. I like how the story will continue to unfold, that's why I ask you all to give it a try you won't feel disappointed, believe me.
Looking forward for every Sunday to watch it.

The series is really very exciting and unpredictable, the roll in the series were hit very well and the acting performance is at a very high level. Melisa and Alper have a super chemistry and hamon top in the interaction. The story is very emotional and very emotional who wants to see an exciting drama is really picked up here. I look forward to following a new one every time. You can't just stand without the series and the character. The crazy family and the problems of sibel take a very much with you and gives the viewer the feeling to be accompanied. Elifs development is also very worth seeing. I'm most sorry about her all happened.

Very disappointed in this production...Only interesting relationship was Sanem and Arda. I also love the fashionable wardrobe of the Koraslans the clothing was off the chain.
1. The series belittles and emasculates male actors. Erhan and Tahir, the way they are spoken to and treated by their significant others- Sibel and Sukran, is almost childlike, and very dominating and disrespectful, no real man will put up with that many insults.
2. Chronic lying even for 'good intentions'. Elif behaved obsessively and was very weak, she sets a worrying example for females by promoting little or no moral values, a lack of confidence and pride and had a very dishonest streak, these traits can negatively affect one that is embarking on any lifelong relationship. A poor way to start off any committed relationship.
3. Don't know if Sibel's male assistant- Tansel is straight or gay...one thing I love and appreciate about all Turkish Series is that it's always straight and untainted, please don't bring this vice to Turkish movies.
4. No chemistry for me between lead actors, the last episode flopped, Sibel is utterly sour throughout, she is haughty and acts almost scornful, maybe this explains why the 'supposed kiss' with Erhan was censored or actually didn't happen at all. Maybe she should stick to pageants since she obviously shows a displeasure to human contact.
5. Lack of respect and propriety for the institution of marriage, I'm talking about Sibel's brother Tuncay and his now ex wife Begum, how dysfunctionaland embarrassing it is to bring your fiancee (Elif) under the same roof of your wife and kids...
Very toxic series, I'm glad it's finished wasted my time. The directors and writers need to reflect and try again.

It's so damn interesting, first time I am sitting trough the whole 2h episodes without skipping. Talk about having hood chemistry, writing, styling and cinematography. Love that it's a more "modern" kind of Turkish series and not the same typical stereotypes. If this gets cancelled i will stop watching Turkish series for real.
Really recommend to anyone interested in drama romance, it's not your typical story and it's very captivating. They have done a great job making it more fast pacing compared to other series. So it's very durable to watch without a stop for every age I would say. Looking forward for what's next!! :D.

Just as I think this is going to be a great series, the writers, true to form, underestimate the intelligence of its viewers.
Episode 9 is enough to get me to stop watching this series. You could've at least change it a bit from the Korean series you are copying.
With Arda being arrested...it would be soooooo easy to let Zafer fall. With Senem going to testify what this is all about and Erhan giving the recording of Zafer's confession, all this would be over. But I get, the writers didn't have a more intelligent plot and need the story to continue. So Senem will fall for Zafer's blackmail...sigh. Always giving the bad guys the brains and making the good guys stupid beyond redemption (always protecting the bad guys) is so off-putting.
Please writers, stop underestimating our intelligence! It's infuriating.
This series have great casting, excellent actors who act brilliantly (apart form the German partner who is waaaay over the top with his flirting and not real competition for Erhan. It would be much more intresting if he was real competition) & good directing. The writers shouldn't fail this series. Come on now!

The series is a good because it taught me to move focus from western movies to Turkish cos the acting is reality based n it deals with deep human emotions-love anxiety sadness envy jealousy etc. It has no violence ex: gangs revenge guns car chase war etc. Just story of love between a successful businessman n a florist n the emotions that get in the way of lovers friends colleagues exs and the storyteller is the excellent cast crew and its music. It blends with today's modern type story. Interesting premise and a great cast but with not-so-great writing and tension behind the scenes.
I know many people don't like the story line because it's "immoral," but that's actually what I find interesting. I like watching dramas for, well, the drama. I want to watch a scenario unfold that I would never be able to see otherwise. All the character's are kinda bad which is why it's so good. It's what makes the story stand out.
However, the writing is what really failed. The episodes quickly became slow and empty. Even Alperen and Melisa couldn't save the script (not that we got to see them that often anyways...). They still had good chemistry, but with all the drama that happened during filming, you can just tell their hearts aren't in it. Of course, as professionals, they can still pull off a spark on camera, but it's nowhere near what they had in Carpisma.
I wish them both better projects in the future!

With Alperen, an excellent actor, and Melisa, a realist, the Turkish writer has taken this romcom apart and given it new meaning. Their romance also sparkles with chemistry. Their appearances and facial expressions are absolutely exquisite and extremely realistic. Even though I watch it right away without subtitles even though I don't understand Turkish, I can see how the two are feeling for one another, and I believe that comes from the tremendous skill that Turkey is known for. Words can't really explain how much I admire their acting abilities. There are no guns in this show, and the tale revolves around family wars, revenge wars, etc. It is a heart-winner and teaches humanity from halfway around the world.

This was the dumbest show I've ever seen and I'm so madly disappointed, first only because it ended so soon that we learned literally nothing and secondly the script was so poorly written. Every single episode ended with drama and confusion, whole thing was just so stressing to me (even though I expected this show to make me feel relaxed). I thought the last episode would break my stereotype about this series. I wanted some kind of plot twist maybe, but it ended as boringly as I predicted. I saw no development in Sibel: by the end she's still the snow queen as she was portrayed in the first episode. There were no love scenes between Erhan and Sibel so it is also -1 points from me. Thanks to the great cast (especially Melisa and Alparen) or otherwise the show wouldn't gain popularity at all. It was a complete failure to me.

I'm really loving this series, I watched all six episodes in one day and can't wait to see the next ones. I'm so excited!
The chemistry between the two characters is amazing and they are really cool together. I love sibel catwalks and erhan is really nice man. In conclusion everyone to see her, because she shows the events from the point of view of the one who is usually considered the villain!

I'm pretty sure all the high ratings are either from those who support the show and don't want the making of it to stop, or from viewers who watched only the first 2-3 episodes where it was still interesting. I'm forcing myself to watch episode 9 now! And although the teaser of it was 🔥 the episode itself is so boring. The storyline doesn't make much sense anymore and it's so sad to see a great actor like Alperan Duymaz wasting his talents in a show like this :( I hope he regrets this and gets back to making great series again. This was definitely a setback. They say that the writer of the show has been changed and I could tell very easily. The actors lost their auras, in the scenes they're being repeatedly humiliated and disrespected and they accept it anyway, especially the husband/fathers roles. Alperan's tears in the first episode obviously meant nothing to the new writer.

Fresh story, great actors, good at look at the Ego and how it gets in the way if our happiness. Exciting, something happens in each episode. The script is great and also the actors. Actors will learn from the ego and may sometimes brings us the path they need. Who is really to blame? Nobody? Everyone? Tradition? Generations of behaviors? How some traditions can cause people take desperate actions, and its consequences. Tradition over love themes. How men can do anything ... Women are not. How values are twisted if it serves the head of family, a man. This does not ruin traditions, it highlights where traditions cn hurt people. Some traditions are wonderful yet others can cause more inbsalance in a family line.

The 2 female leads are horrible creatures. Selfish, manipulative, cunning and vile to the core. Erhan is so emasculated and weak, you just want to shout "Grow a pair you wuss". The rest of the cast aren't likeable except for my favourite Begum.
I only watch this series for her. Unfortunately she doesn't get much air time. Her dialogues are a riot and the actress who plays her is brilliant. Begum needs to play a more prominent role since she's the most fun to watch.

This show keeps me on my toes every minute and every episode! I love that the title of this show is Men can't be trusted.
I'm absolutely and utterly obsessed with Sibel and Erhan and hope they are endgame. Their chemistry is MAGIC
Begum is probably one of the most funniest characters I've seen.
I absolutely love for the intense drama between all the couples. They all have their flaws and vulnerabilities and motives and I love this show because of that. Morally grey characters for the win!
I genuinely hope this show doesn't get cancelled because it's one of the only Turkish shows I've binged episode after episode.

It's so good can't wait for more.it has great actors and great plot the dynamic is so good.it's such nice show to watch when your home and feeling bored it makes the day feel whole again I really and truly love the actors I would want them to work together again their so good at what they do as actors in their series I would hate for such a good show to get canceled some people don't like because it's different from the cliché plots they like but if they look at it from a different point of view they can come to like it but it's so good overall might be one of my favorite series to watch over again.
