St. Patrick's Day (#6.12)

Warning: Spoilers
It is St. Patrick's day. Denis shows up at Liz's place and brings some tension between her and Criss. Jack plays a game with the writers. Tracy and Jenna can't agree on who will be host number 1 and Kenneth really wants to help Hazel.

I think the best part of the Liz story is her getting out of the house in the Hulk glows because those are the only green things she owns. And the "i love you" scene was pretty sweet.

My favorite part though was Jack being a businessman with the game. Discussing with Frank how he can profit from the unicorns and telling him important things about this product. Hilarious!

Warning: Spoilers
I loved Liz Lemon's sardonic reference to St. Patrick's Day as a "religious holiday". I also like this episode because not only does Sue have more than one line, but Jack engages with the writers in some D&D type of game during St. Patrick's Day.

It's easy to forget that 30 Rock and Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip debuted on NBC at the same time. Conventional wisdom was that Sorkin's powerhouse series be the one that would survive the first season, with 30 Rock being a one season wonder. But history has proved otherwise.
