This is part four in the arc and it's another good one, the good news is the Defenders were able to get away from Krotan. But as an old saying goes out of the frying pan and into the fire as we see from the beginning each of them is in some tough spots and separated.
It was interesting seeing each of the characters working separately along with their kids working with them, from Lothar and L. J. getting close to the Mongo palace territory and just kicking a lot of ass, beating the odds was cool.
Flash and Rick are evading the forces and unfortunately for them their situation just goes from bad to worse when we see they inadvertently get themselves inside a warhead.
And unfortunately, the Defenders didn't get far away from Krotan whom is just up to no good and being the usual whiner, which is another reason I really don't like this guy but that's part of the point as in a way he's a bit of a man child, acting like any spoiled rotten kid badly whenever they don't get everything they want but also he really wants to toy with the Defenders before killing them. As for Jetta rejecting him, well as an old saying goes "She's just not that into you".
I feel what makes this episode truly unique is by its nature it's all one big puzzle as we see Krotan throws some of the Defenders in a Maze in which they must go through it to find a button which supposedly will cancel the warhead heading for Earth. Though unknowing by doing that they may inadvertently kill Flash and Rick in the process.
However, knowing Krotan, he's one that never keeps his word because all he cares about and lives for is to get what he wants and sparing the lives of Flash, Rick, the Defenders, as well as the Earthlings are not on that list.
It's suspenseful as you two puzzles going on at once, from seeing the Defenders go thought the maze and are just fighting out the robot rat dogs, Flash and Rick find a way out.
Will the Defenders solve the puzzles on time and turn the tables on Krotan once more, you'll just have to wait and find out.
