This is part 2 in a favorite episode in my book. Not a lot I can say, it's not a new concept, I just like the fact that we see the Defenders actually meeting their match that are actually giving them a little run for their money.
The only bad things about the episode are part of Ming's scheme as to why he needed Kshin in the plan. Wouldn't that device of worked on any of the other kids or heck even himself, didn't Ming have much of an imagination also. Also the battles were just a bit lame and one sided, it's just there really should have been better choreography and something more to the fights, like with Flash may 'be he goes to an armory and unloads certain laser guns at the monster but the monster counterattacks and blocks each discharge. Or once the Defenders get the powers, they change form, let alone get to do even more with the powers granted.
Other than that, everything else is fine. Like the designs of the monsters whom look like they could easily be monsters from "Power Rangers", each of them are unique in design and capability. It was interesting seeing the Defenders having to struggle with them and unfortunately get their butts kicked. But then also to see them just turn the tables on them.
