Hamlet Play
claudio_carvalho13 January 2022
When the body of the English teacher Jack McTierney is found on the baseball field of the school where he worked with the skull fractured, the CBI agents find Ecstasy and a letter addressed to a former student with him. They also learn that McTierney was a teacher that loved to help the students. Meanwhile, Patrick Jane meets the theater teacher Ms. Austin and her students that are preparing the play Hamlet, and he shows knowledge and how to act, impressing the group. He also finds that principal Snyder had hidden cameras in the bathroom. During the exhibition of the play, Patrick exposes the criminal.

"Something Rotten in Redmund" is a good episode of "The Mentalist". The plot shows many suspects and strange situations, but in the final plot point, Patrick Jane exposes the killer and other secrets. My vote is eight.

Error

Starts out that the play being rehearsed is MacBeth, later, it's Hamlet. Silly little detail, but annoying to.a literature major! LOL.

Big fan of Mentalist, though, and love almost all the episodes. Always a bit corny, and I guess I have a thing for people on the narcissism spectrum, since Jayne is somewhere on that spectrum, perhaps not full blown, but definitely problematic. A different series post 2020 than prior, for sure. But we all have a guilty little pleasures. Ha! I only have one hundred words to go, remember, there is an error - MacBeth is the play in the beginning, Hamlet the play in the end, so just wanted to point that out because I'm a nerd! LOL.
