At first sigh, all is well known. the story, the characters, the referinces to Coraline and Little Red Riding Hood , the secret plan and the poor victim . but the animation is beautiful, the subject interesting and the film so short than you dream to another, giving explanations and using the pieces from this film as a fascinating, dark story. and this is all. enjoy it !

'Foxed! (2013)' is an animated horror short about a girl who attempts to escape from the foxes who have captured her and forced her to work in a mine. The piece definitely feels like a teaser for a larger project, lasting just a little longer than a trailer and leaving you with the same feeling of wanting more. For what it is, though, it's a solid effort, especially when it comes to its rough-around-the-edges but still satisfying stop-motion animation. The story is simple yet successful, with a really callous undercurrent that makes its horror hit even harder. It perhaps explains itself a little too much, but the premise is enjoyable and the ending is suitably frustrating. Overall, this is an effective little picture that would benefit from some further fleshing out.
