Xavier's storyline actually pays off quite well here and for once a character actually deserves to have the police go easy on him, even if it is perhaps a bit too easy.There's a couple of nice scenes between him and Sasha that emphasise how much he's drifted away from Summer Bay and in the end he makes a decision about his future that's probably the right one.
Sid does his best to help Indi sort out her issues by breaking her last tie with Romeo.Ruby's response is rather annoying when Indi's doing her best to be reasonable, as is Leah's attitude to Ruby's revelation which seems to have more to do with her issues than Ruby's.
Meanwhile, Alf seems to have snapped back into grumpy old man mode after a few episodes as wise old man.Roo's as grating as ever and it's becoming a bit hard to accept her, Harvey and Lottie playing happy families.
