Sex & Nudity

- There is a 'holodeck' sequence where the female lead is clad in a bikini at a virtual beach. She wrestles with the topless male lead (Swim trunks only) and some suggestive dialog is spoken. Topless male nudity only
- There is a scene where Valerian is entering a club and many women make suggestive comments to him. They're also wearing revealing clothing.
- Inside a club, Valerian watches a woman dance. She changes into very revealing outfits (expect to see cleavage and buttocks). She twerks, chair dances, and pole dances. It is very lewd and suggestive.
- Lauraline wears a bra top with a thin shirt over it in the first action scene in the movie. The bra is not covered at all though.
Violence & Gore

- Multiple battles and shoot out scenes.
- A planet is destroyed, and its population decimated, as collateral damage between two warring fleets.
- Aliens head is blown off leaving green goo, another alien is killed, a piece of him slides off and reveals yellow goo.

Sex & Nudity
- In the last scene of the movie, Laureline and Valerian passionately make out for about 45 seconds. The movie ends there.
- A long scene features a female humanoid alien in multiple costumes performing a fully clothed, dance for a man. She mentions that she has basically been an imprisoned since childhood. An alien race is mostly nude and females breasts are barely covered and male torsos are fully nude including nipples. Males only wearing a small loin cloth. The females appear to have no nipples (it is non sexual). Character visits a "pleasure" zone where he is propositioned by different women (not graphic). Character alludes to wanting to be more intimate with another character as part of the story line
Violence & Gore
- A male alien's top of head gets chopped through. He is politically important.
- A female alien is killed. Her backstory is tragic.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The big market scene is like a vr game but it's actually real and it takes place on a different planet. Valerian fights with some people.
