If fairy tales were real life

What I liked about the show was, as the show progressed, seeing who showed themselves to be likable and kind and who showed themselves to be shallow or rude. You will have to wait for things to develop to see what people are made of (as far as you can tell on TV). In the first season it is implied that the meeting and dating all took place in 1 week. That is incredibly short and there are ever-present doubts about a happily ever after. I didn't rate it terribly high because it's "set up" TV and I always have to feel badly for some of the participants. On the other hand I was impressed with some of the participants and there were some nice moments.

Amusing switch for the guys

I found it interesting to look at the difference in backgrounds and cultures.

I'm only in the first episode though, it's not a full season review. I like the fact that they're smart guys, learning about American reality.
