I saw this film at the film festival in Cannes and was very surprised here an Austrian filmmaker to discover the remote of his country here considerable sensation was caused by a fantastic book and directing skills. Emotional film in strong colors and an impressive sound experience. It all begins with images of a very commonplace Christmas market with anonymous people on Chistmas Eve. The fate of the protagonist puts the audience in a surprising Twighlight where the absolute truth and boundlessness prevails. An ingeniously staged story with startling twists. A travel also into our own self and after the movie to start on his own life thinking something. Hannes Fretzer is a gifted and charismatic director, which I hope more to see.
