- Two destitute women reinvent themselves by opening hundreds of pre-approved credit cards, hoping their hoax leads to happiness.
- For JAMES and STAN, life in the bottom 99% sucks.
But, thats all about to change.
When we first meet our heroes, they have dead end jobs, empty bank accounts, and little hope for love. Until they stumble upon a mountain of pre-approved credit card offers.
And, so begins their journey from the bottom 99% to the top 1%.
STAN (Jim Santangeli) struggles as a musician and is an angry waiter. He rarely gets the girl and when he does, its usually someone with questionable hygiene. No matter. He has an idea that will save him and his best friend from the depths of despair.
His best friend JAMES (Sean Meehan) has a Ph.D. in English but cant find a job as a Professor. So, he sells used cars. Very used. His goal is to find true love and is quite reluctant to go on the suspicious journey concocted by Stan.
VIVIAN (Karen Shallo) is an older woman on the outside and a vivacious live wire on the inside. She is the Obi-Wan Kenobi of sex therapists who helps our heroes maximize their potential.
And it all begins in Stan and James apartment where something in their closet forever changes their lives
MAXED OUT is an irreverent comedy about lust, friendship, a quest for happiness, and living life as a facade one transaction at a time.
