Storyline
Featured review
The main issue with this short film is it's not funny. The central premise has some potential and a short film is probably the maximum length it can use and still be a comedy. The biggest crime this film commits, however, is it's not funny. The jokes aside from maybe 1 or 2 don't land. They're either poor in premise or execution. Just referencing other movies about dogs is insufficient.
Aside from that, the acting seems to be either too underdone or overdone. The couple doesn't really seem like a couple, and the random attempts at relationship drama seem sudden and out of place for. The drama with the dog-man's backstory and the resolution of his story also feel unsatisfying. Even situations like editing and camera angles are awkwardly placed or performed. All that is readily noticeable despite the short length.
All in all, this short film didn't live up to its potential. Despite being labelled as a comedy, it has little comedic value.
