- Captain Smek has a sceptre he calls "the Shusher" which he uses to hit Boov who annoy him on the head.
- There is a gas station that blows up
- Mild violence and slapstick.

- A lot of bathroom humor including references to pee, number 2 and number 3. (Just implied not into detail.)
- One of the main characters calls captain smeck an idiot.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- This Movie contains some mild action and mild rude humor.
- Aspects of child losing her mother (eventually they are reunited) is a theme throughout, but the daughter clearly states this in at least one scene. Other scenes convey this intense separation/seeming loss. Some of this is tempered by the daughter's hope, but the (understandable) intensity is still present.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
- When the Boov evacuation happens at the very moment Tip is about to see her mother again, Oh insists that she comes with him. They argue about Oh breaking his promise. Tip lashes out at Oh telling him that they were never friends. Oh runs to the ship for the last second. This scene is emotional and very upsetting.
- The scene when Slushius dies can be sad.
- Oh eats a bio block he thinks was a blue mint then drinks pee thinking it was lemonade.
- Tip befriends Oh (an alien), and Oh appears to be crushed near the end of the movie (Oh is OK).
