The series is a result of good work from the makers

The entire series give you a good feel of the locations they have showed...the content is nothing new of big giants corporates wants to capture jungles for their commercial benefits but the making and execution is very good..the series goes on a perfect pace in line with the content..the action was outstanding with good arms

Aditya patralekhaa Ashish and Dibyendu played very good specially Aditya in the main lead performed with good action

The climax is yet not concluded and is kept open for season 2 there kills all the excitement of a good series.

This webseries is inspired from Chhattisgarh Tribals.

Me and My father have gone among the tribal society, my experience was good, they are sociable, and they are happy with there people and natural environment, then they prefers to stay away from our world and there are some other reasons which are heard in the news.

Jagdalganj means Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh.

That Waterfall is Chitrakut (Naigra Fall of India), Chhattisgarh.

And Barsur Forest Area, Chhattisgarh.

Firstly this series raise questions 'How rich people(industrialist) make things works.

Just what they(industrialist) want they get it at any cost and take the names of naxals if something bad or casualties happens.

Sarju the lead Aditya Rawal is future of acting if he takes it this way. In this web series he did it perfectly. All Characters were perfectly placed.

With twists and turns it's a good one.

. A lot of hard work has gone into writing this web series, there is no doubt about it because showing the tribal language and culture of Chhattisgarh Tribes in this series is a lot of hard work. Aditya Rawal's work is commendable. The whole story is depicted in a good way. Some people will not like it much. But I especially liked it. Because it tells about those tribal society which the world has not understood.

Not A lengthy Web Series.

Aar ya paar-season 1

Aar ya paar is an action series directed by neel guha, glen barretto and ankush mohla.

Aditya rawal has the potential to be a star in the upcoming days. He gave a very good performance here. In the action sequences, he was upto the task. Dibyendu bhattacharya is a hell of an actor and he has given a terrific performance, very clever and oppurtunistic. Patralekha paul was fine, cannot give it full marks. Ashish vidyarthi was the best in my opinion. He was a grey character and he showed various emotions clearly. The other actors were average to decent.

I have a problem with the tone of this film. Some characters were subtle, others were aivayi over the top. The character of kisna and the other tribals looked so over the top to me. Whereas, sarju was so subtle, the other characters were so subtle.

The screenplay too has many flaws. There are some continuity issues, other are due to pacing. 6th episode onwards, the screenwriting seems so rushed and frantic that you cannot have some breathing space, so many things are happening. Its engaging no doubt, but the characters need to be taken along. Sarju and reuben are very well written. Reuben especially is a classic case of grey villain. In the 5th episode, there is one fantastic scene where he just bashes someone's head. Later, he is surprised by whose blood is it on his face. A subtle commentary on rage and how it shapes your mental state. A character whose son despises him, he knows it and lets it happen because he loves the power and the evilry that comes with it. Sarju too is established beautifully.

There are some fantastic oneliner dialogues which are full masala. The creator uses bollywood songs perfectly. He also did it with apharan, he also does it here.

The cinematography is brilliant. In the concluding action scene, there is a brilliant 360 shot. The colour composition is good. The production is on point. The tribals have been designed quite fine.

This is a very good series despite having some flaws. I rate it 8.

I have not seen such best web series. A wild boy Sarju and his revenge. Its story, its heart touching BGM (specially flute), its stunning graphics, everything is amazing. I would like to tell everyone that if you are looking for best entertainment on OTT then you must watch this web series because all the episodes will not let you blink eyes at all. Thank you Makers and Disney+ Hotstar for presenting such a great story. I want to tell Bollywood people please work hard and start making such good movies because now entertainment doesn't just mean Bollywood because now talent is emerging everywhere.

One of the best series to introduce of tribe in modern world.

Efforts have been made to show the characters and graphics very strongly. The actors' characters and their art are very impressive and one character in particular, Sarju, has given a tremendous performance. And waiting to season 2.

As a negative incident, the final part of the story has become more confusing.

The extent to which modern man can go for his own selfishness is beautifully and elaborately described here. Day and day the nature and the custodians of nature are moving towards the destruction of tribals, wildlife and wild resources for their own gain.

There are continuous efforts by NGOs and governments to protect them and as an aware citizen it is our duty to protect them.

Watch Aar Ya Paar to educate yourself about the tribals 🙂

In a country with 1+ billion population, out of which 100+ millions are tribals, we actually know so less about their life, laws created for their protection and atrocities bestowed upon them by greedy people.

The 8 episodes webseries has good plot, acting and cinematography.

I was surprised to find out that the protagonist Aditya Rawal who has fine captured the body language, expressions and fighting style of a gallant tribal is legendary actor Paresh Rawal's son!!

Clearly, the apple has not fallen far from the tree.

Apart from him, Sumeet Vyas, Patralekhaa, Ashish Vidyarthi and Dibyendu Bhattacharya will keep you glued to the screen.

After a decade i witnessed such a marvelous web series. It keeps you engaged all the time. Full of surprises. Hats off to the cast and crew.

Amazing talent and storyline. It deserves infinity stars.

I am so amazed at the performance of the lead. The way he carried the rage of revenge is mind blowing.

Best story line and very carefully choose artist.

Nice plot, Good performance, however, Poor editing, mixed timelines

The plot, story, acting are nice in this series.

This takes the thread ahead of "Jungle invaded by so called development" effectively.

However the poor editing raises questions. The timeline cannot be just sequential but it should have been just. One needs time to move from one country to another. One needs time for Passport, Visa clearance for the first time etc.

Ashish Vidyarthi has been superb in his performance. He has been phenomenal. Aditya despite his first assignment as the lead and Patralekha have given justice to their roles. Dibyendu Bhattacharya is spotless in his acting.

What I missed was some fine tuning on the timeline. Some more critical editorial work was needed when you are getting such a fantastic start cast, budget.

As a viewer it raised one more question; "Was there the real need of bloodbath in the climax?" Many of the times the action seemed unnecessary.

I wish good luck for Aditya and crew. In the next season, I believe they will give justice to all the departments.

Vengeance

Anwar Says: Two initial reasons to watch the web series, the Director Siddharth Sengupta was the director of Undekhi, Apharan and Ye Kali Kali Aankhen and the lead Sarju ( Aditya Rawal) is Paresh Rawal's son. Probably the first filmi depiction of Adivasi Exploitation and brilliantly told by Sidharth. The series starts slowly amidst misty hills , waterfalls , rusty sack clothes of characters and look real and picks up when Sarju is on a revenge errand.

The grip of Sidharth is found on all the Departments, whether it is Cinematography or VFX or Costume Designing or background score or the twist and turns of the Story ( written by him only). Ashish Vidyaarthi after a long time looked of his own , Dibyendu is not a Cop this time for a change and role of cop played by Sumeet Vyas is subdued. Patralekha character could have been more vocal and so of Shilpa Shukla , probably in the second season.

The message that Adivasi are being treated with cynicism has been perfectly told with stellar performance. Character of Sarju is not magnified but shown as lethal weapon and he too is being used by everyone around him. Watch it for sure.

A window to the future of Indian content

I was seating in my home and having a very average day. I opened Disney and for no reason started watching the series. Within minutes I was mind blown, I had to complete it in one go.

I am just searching about the casts, the writer, the director and most importantly the background music director. They all have done so great work. Here we see future of Indian content.

Whenever I watch movies, I minutely observe the personal bias of producers and directors. I observe they have right or left political bias. I observe their ways of justifying their views. But this is RAW. You are going to see truth, from sky, as god see, naked truth.

This is going to leave you in awe!

Pathetic series

This series joins the list of the most pathetic web series ever made lie Candy etc. Poor writing. Cant write such plot sitting in AC chambers in Bombay. The language of the tribals was too funny. Moira and Toira and rest hindi ? Thats a tribal language ? Brilliant. Should have worked at least on the language angle. A lot has been touted of atrocities against the tribals but this one is too far fetched. Travelling abroad to kill and all. The writer is a looney. N body impresses in acting too. Even Ashish Vidyarthi looked so loud. Dunno which starved audience is impressed by such seriesDunno which starved audience is impressed by such series when there is quality content available.

People who lives for only money won't be able to understand not only tribes, they'll be same for every other human, animal, resources, etc. They think that they are the superior because they have money and by that they can buy anything.

Because of these idiots this paradise(our mother earth) has started crying.

They will never understand this beautiful life given by the god, beautiful resources given by nature and mother earth are precious than any greed which is temporary.

In this series what an amazing writing, scenes and acting was involved to show us these things so so beautifully.

Great message is provided to all of us that we should take care of our custodians of nature are we can protect them from these money diggers. The destruction of wildlife and their resources and tribals will lead us towards making this beautiful earth to the hell.

We should encourage this valuable cause and make this series so popular that it should present in Oscar and wins too, if web-series gets nominate, else I already gave it from the bottom of my heart to the every member of this beautiful web-series.

The Power of Birds and Bees

Spectacular and gripping series ...a must watch. Curated so well. It was a gripping series .On one side we have to so called civilized world which has only one ruthless agenda and will wipe out anybody who come in the way on the other side a tiny tribe working totally in synchrony and balance with the environment so much so even the birds and bees work to keep the world as they know it. This is the saddest reveal is that money and power has the last say .The vulnerability of the tribe and the ultimate truth that everyone has to succumb to the the powers that be. Its a harsh reminder a jolting fact can we do anything about it????

#New year gift for OTT lover

What a series! What a story! What a direction.. All I want to say whatever you are doing just stop it and watch this series, trust me you will not regret! The climax will blow your every single episode is worth watching. I started the series at 2 pm today and completed till I watched the final episode. In short maja aa gaya ! After soo long I got to see some different kind of acting and amazing story. Go and watch! Watch ! Watch. Superb acting. You won't even imagine what comings at the end.. But yes one more series will come.. will be waiting for that series. I am giving it 10 out of 10. ! Happy new year all.

Apocalypto with Indian twist

Good, entertaining and I could see a close resemblance of Apocalypto movie of 2006. It's not a remake, but many scenes reminded me of the movie. It was very entertaining and logical. No big plot holes. Acting was good, and so was the screenplay. Binge watch worthy. One of the amazing web series I've watched in 2022. I felt the climax scene could have involved wild animals just like how the hunter dogs turned sides, but it was good to watch. I would definitely recommend watching this amazing web series on Hotstar. Waiting for second season with more action sequences than the first season in 2023.

Bestever web series of its kind

Great learning for youngsters.

Its fight between nature vs man.

Do not try to disturb the nature and its savour.

Tribes are the best protector and followers of aour ancient culture.

Please let them live in thier own world.

They are different from our world but they are pure at heart.

Their's natural medical treatment still miraculous ther no match in modern medical science.

BGM is awesome and make it more intresting.

AYP team have done good research on the culture and life style of tribes and did justice to show it on reels.

A strong message is conveyed to the society that who is the protector of nature and who is destroyer of nature.

Great work keep the originality in coming season.

Amazed by how they have carried this one out! I watched it today and not gonna lie it had that binge watch element. I will give a detailed review of certain aspects.

Pacing of the series was 10/10. There will be no-very very few moments where you will see it getting boring. It's clearly visible that they have preferred quality over quantity of episodes for this series.

Plot 10/10 , Acting too 9.5/10.

Yeah by the trailer pretty much the plot is predictable but the way made it unpredictable is worth a watch on its own. I did predict the plot too but the script was so well written that it didn't loose me at any point of time.

At last I would conclude by saying that movies on such topics should be appreciated more and if it is of this sort, it deserves even more appreciation and applauds from us!

One of the best and unique web series I have watched, with great theme highlighting tribal values, skills and their love for Nature and animals. Great message to the selfish and business minded human beings who are willing to go to any extent against Nature to satisfy their greed unmindful of the damage inflicted on Nature. Series has shown that though the Tribals are self content and lead a peaceful life, they can get wild when Nature and their existence is threatened. But they also have humane emotions and respect goodness of others. Acting, narration, direction, photography is of the highest order... Eagerly awaiting the 2nd season.

A wonderful action packed series

It's extremely disturbing to see and know how indigenous population are exploited and their lands grabbed by vested interests. The series' Aar Ya Paar's main theme revolves around how a larger corporation exterminates tribals in a protected area and occupies their land to mine uranium.

The main protagonist is a tribal who seeks revenge against the perpetrators and in the process gets sucked into a much deeper conspiracy. A well made series with some amazing characters and great action. Kudos to the makers of this awesome series. A must watch and a rare gem amongst the plethora of web series released nowadays.
