Ricky Martin is heating up our evening with a new video of himself posing wearing only a small pair of shorts.
On Saturday (May 4), the 52-year-old hitmaker hopped on social media to share a new thirst trap that is already exciting his fans.
Head inside to see Ricky Martin’s sexy new video…
On Instagram, Ricky posted a video of himself in his bathroom. In it, he’s wearing sky-blue short shorts. He’s shirtless but holding a long-sleeved white shirt in front of his stomach.

“Alone now,” he captioned the cheeky video.
His fans rushed to the comments section to respond to the star.
“Alone time looks good on you,” one fan simply wrote. We could not agree more!

Jameela Jamil and longtime love James Blake put their love on full display during a very rare outing on Saturday (January 20) in Paris, France.
The 37-year-old She-Hulk actress and the 35-year-old “Retrograde” hitmaker attended the Valentino Menswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show during Paris Fashion Week and put on a stylish display while posing for photos together.
Wearing monochromatic black, Jameela capped off her look with knee-high boots and stylish sunglasses. James provided a bright pop of color in a long, royal blue trench coat.

If you were unaware, the couple has been together since 2015. However, we rarely see them out in public in recent years.
We got photos of them cozied up during an afternoon on the town in New York City back in October 2023. Since then, they’ve made a scant few appearances.

Recently we had the pleasure of sitting down with Jon Batiste, Suleika Jaouad and filmmaker Matthew Heineman to talk about their new film American Symphony, which hits home on Netflix today.
Linda Marric chartered their long journey in a series of interviews about their unforgettable documentary centring around the multi-Grammy winning artist who, whilst celebrating a triumphant year in music learns that his beloved wife’s long dormant cancer has returned.
Early in 2022, multi-instrumentalist Jon Batiste finds himself the most celebrated artist of the year with eleven Grammy nominations including Album of the Year. In the midst of that triumph, Jon is immersed in his most ambitious challenge yet: composing “American Symphony”, an original symphony that thrillingly reimagines the classical traditions of the form, bringing together an expansive and inclusive diaspora of music for a performance at storied Carnegie Hall. This extraordinary trajectory is upended, however, when Batiste’s life...

How much longer will the Oscars wait? That is, wait to embrace the quality and sheer brilliance of documentary filmmaking in a significant way, meaning nominating one in the best picture category? Matthew Heineman’s deeply moving “American Symphony,” which follows Oscar and Grammy-winning composer Jon Batiste as he prepares for his performance at Carnegie Hall, is yet another home run for the filmmaker behind “Cartel Land” and “City of Ghosts,” not to mention a singular love story.
Batiste’s larger-than-life personality was on full display following the Telluride screening of the documentary, when he led a band down to the main street of Telluride.
The film doesn’t just follow Batiste in his musical element, such as his work as band leader for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” or when he led the 2022 Grammy nominations and won album of the year. Instead, it’s an intimate portrait of...

“I literally finished the film at three in the morning last night,” director Matthew Heineman says on a video call with Filmmaker on Tuesday, just past the airport security on his way to the 50th Telluride Film Festival. “I’m barely alive right now.” Thankfully, Heineman is alive and well, and at the height of his powers as a documentarian with sharp instincts and artistic finesse with American Symphony, which marks the second time a feature of his world premieres at the annual Colorado gathering. The first was last year’s stunning Oscar-shortlisted Retrograde, on the US withdrawal from Afghanistan. In a […]

How do you get to Carnegie Hall?
For director Matthew Heineman, that road was a very roundabout one that went across the United States, journeyed into the Mexican drug cartels, ran in and out of Syria, stayed with healthcare workers during the worst days of the Covid-19 pandemic and braved the chaotic Kabul airport during the final days of the American withdrawal from Afghanistan.
But with “American Symphony,” which had its world premiere on Friday at the Telluride Film Festival, Heineman and his cameras settle in with musician Jon Batiste as he prepares for the Carnegie Hall debut of a major composition that mixes a classical orchestra with jazz, folk, blues, gospel and Native American music. Where Heineman’s earlier films were about violence, conflict and death, his new one deals with the creation of art.

In his latest documentary, “American Symphony,” Oscar-nominated director Matthew Heineman delivers a portrait of two artists — Grammy winner and former “Late Show With Stephen Colbert” bandleader Jon Batiste and his wife, author Suleika Jaouad.
Heineman is known for putting his life on the line to make documentaries about the Mexican drug wars (“Cartel Land”), the initial explosion of Covid-19 in the U.S. (“The First Wave”) and the final months of America’s 20-year war in Afghanistan (“Retrograde”). But in “American Symphony,” which makes its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival on Aug. 31, the helmer captures a more intimate battle.
In early 2022, after receiving 11 Grammy nominations including album of the year, Batiste sets out to compose “American Symphony,” an original symphony that reimagines the classical traditions of the form at Carnegie Hall. But life turns upside down when Jaouad learns that her long-dormant cancer has returned. Heineman’s 103-minute...

Last year, 144 documentary features were eligible for an Academy Award, but in reality, less than a third of those docs had a chance of making the 15-film shortlist. That, in part, is because garnering a spot on that competitive list requires not only a beautifully crafted film constructed by a talented director and crew, but also money.
In the past decade, platforms with deep pockets — Amazon, Apple TV+, Disney +, Netflix — began to spend on documentary award campaigns in ways that, prior to 2010, were unfathomable to the nonfiction film community. Before streamers came onto the scene, lobbying and marketing a doc during award season meant, if you were lucky, that a distributor took out a few “For Your Consideration” ads and hosted a handful of screenings. On Saturday, the Producers Guild of America gathered at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles to hand out the 2023 PGA Awards.
While the ceremony honors the achievements of producers across media, meaning awards were given out to series like “The White Lotus” and “The Bear,” the documentary “Navalny,” and animated feature “Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio,” its theatrical film award, which was won by “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” is the one all eyes were on.
The Darryl F. In the room to accept were executive producers Jonathan Wang, Daniel Kwan, and Daniel Scheinert (the latter two also wrote and directed the hit multiversal dramedy from A24). “Everything Everywhere All at Once” has been named the best-produced film of 2022 at the Producers Guild Awards, which were held on Saturday evening in Los Angeles.
The freewheeling indie film won in a category that also included the formidable blockbusters “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Elvis” and “Avatar: The Way of Water.” The PGA had been a must-win awards show for “Top Gun,” and the fact that “Everything Everywhere” won is reminiscent of the low-budget “Coda” winning this award last year on its way to an unlikely Oscar Best Picture win.
The Producers Guild is also the only other awards show apart from the Oscars that uses the preferential or ranked-choice system of counting the votes in its top category. That system is designed to find a consensus choice, and the biggest question surrounding “Everything Everywhere All at Once” has been whether it was too polarizing to win under that system.

The 34th Producers Guild of America Awards took place on Saturday, February 25 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The biggest award of the night, the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, has historically been considered a strong prognosticator for the Best Picture Oscar each year. It’s the only major precursor that uses a ranked choice voting system like the Academy Awards. Scroll down for the 2023 PGA Awards winners list in three film and 10 TV categories.
The guild and the academy have only disagreed 10 times over the past three decades, with last year’s champ “Coda” claiming both prizes. This year, seven of the guild’s nominees also reaped Oscar bids: “Avatar: The Way of Water,” “The Banshees of Inisherin,” “Elvis,” “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” “The Fabelmans,” “Tár,” and “Top Gun: Maverick.” The other two PGA nominees, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery...

It’s shaping up to be an exciting, competitive awards season for documentaries. “All the Beauty and the Bloodshed” is the odds-on favorite for the Oscar as of this writing, but precursor awards have gone in different directions. Coming up are the February 25 Producers Guild of America Awards, where “All the Beauty” is absent from the nonfiction lineup. So which film will win instead?
It’s a three-way race according to the combined predictions of over 1,000 Gold Derby users. “Fire of Love” has the lead with 5/1 odds and support from 12 out of 18 Expert journalists we’ve surveyed from major media outlets, seven out of 12 Gold Derby Editors, 16 of our Top 24 Users, and 14 of our All-Star Top 24. The film, which explores the lives and deaths of a pair of married volcanologists, recently won the Directors Guild Award, so it’s off to a good start within the industry.

With less than a month to go before the Oscars, every award show counts. The next few weeks will see all of the major Hollywood guilds give out their annual awards, ensuring that each department gets its moment in the spotlight. Tonight, directors took center stage as Hollywood convened at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the Directors Guild of America Awards.
The ceremony honored outstanding achievement in both film and television directing, and the former category is often seen as predicting the Best Director winner at the Academy Awards. Four of the five Best Director nominees competed in the Feature Film category tonight: Steven Spielberg (“The Fabelmans”), Martin McDonagh (“The Banshees of Inisherin”), Todd Field (“TÁR”), and Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (“Everything Everywhere All at Once”). “Triangle of Sadness” director Ruben Östlund is not nominated, with “Top Gun: Maverick” helmer Joseph Kosinski taking his place.

The Television Academy on Tuesday announced a new Emmy category as well as a revision of submission guidance for documentaries.
The new category, outstanding emerging media program, will be awarded to “producer(s), company(s), and/or individual(s) responsible for the creation of emerging media programming related to an existing linear television program or series or one that is entirely original. The award recognizes content that is central and fundamental to the work itself and demonstrates creative excellence, elevating the audience’s viewing experience beyond traditional linear programming.”
In terms of documentary programming, the TV Academy has reversed its previously announced policy and will now allow documentaries “that appear on the AMPAS viewing platform but have not received an Oscar nomination” to qualify for Emmy consideration.

The double dip is making a return. The TV Academy has removed its rule barring documentaries from campaigning for both an Oscar and and Emmy — as long as those docs weren’t nominated for an Academy Award.
Specifically, “Documentaries that appear on the AMPAS viewing platform but have not received an Oscar nomination may still qualify for Emmy consideration.”
That returns the Emmy rules to its pre-2022 stipulations. Starting last year, documentary films placed on the AMPAS viewing platform were ineligible for Emmy consideration. At that point, the rule had been changed to read, “Any film placed on the AMPAS viewing platform will be deemed a theatrical motion picture and thus ineligible for the Emmy competition.”
But the new rule reversal now “aligns the Television Academy and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in their approach to documentary submissions,” the TV Academy announced Tuesday.

When Chinonye Chukwu’s Till, about how Mamie Till-Mobley channeled her grief over the murder of her son Emmett Till into a movement for justice, premiered at the New York Film Festival this fall, there was seemingly instant Oscar buzz for star Danielle Deadwyler, who plays Till-Mobley, with some saying she’d win the best actress nomination.
But when the 2023 Oscar nominations were announced Tuesday morning, Deadwyler wasn’t even among the nominees, despite experts predicting she’d make the cut and earlier nods by awards and critics groups. And on top of that, Till, didn’t receive any nominations, even in the best song category where some thought it would break in.
On Tuesday’s The View, Whoopi Goldberg noted simply that “unfortunately my film, Till, wasn’t nominated.”
Also among the shocking snubs was Viola Davis in the best actress category and everyone involved with The Woman King.

Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez has purchased a 110-acre spread in Ojai, California, that offers sweeping views of the Topatopa Mountains, which are renowned for their “pink moment” at sunset.
The property is a compound comprising around 6,500 square feet of buildings. They include a light and airy 4,351-square-foot, three-bedroom main house, a 1,300-square-foot guest house, an art studio and a two-car garage.
Gonzalez’s purchase, which closed late last year for a price of 4 million, features a great room with 20-foot ceilings and French doors; a primary bedroom with its own French doors and a walk-in closet; and a primary bath with a steam shower and adjacent exercise room. In the kitchen are custom cabinets, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer and a Dacor double oven. Paul Thomas Anderson does not offer to host a screening and/or moderate a Q&a for many films, and he certainly doesn’t introduce many filmmakers as “my hero.” But on Jan. 10, at CAA in Century City, the revered auteur paid tribute in those exact ways to Matthew Heineman and his Oscar-shortlisted documentary feature Retrograde, which chronicles the end of the war in Afghanistan from the perspective of both the U.S. and Afghan troops on the ground.
“This is a great film,” Anderson said in his introduction of the film, adding of its 39-year-old director/producer/cinematographer/editor, “I admire Matt’s films so much and really consider him a proper filmmaker, unlike the rest of us fakers.”
Heineman has ventured into many harrowing situations with his documentaries, which have chronicled, among other things, Mexico’s drug cartels (2015’s Cartel Land, which was Oscar-nominated), Isis (2017’s City of...

Dynamic mother-daughter and best friend duo Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey) return in “Ginny & Georgia” Season 2, which gets even more chaotic than the already very complex first season of the Netflix show. Another of Georgia’s past loves enters the mix, she commits some more questionable actions and many other twists and turns develop within the 10 hour-long episodes.
Ginny and her friends are no strangers to the TikTok scene, so some song choices reflect Gen Z’s poppy preferences. The show is also not afraid to explore both the high, happy feelings of life as well as the deeper, darker, lower ones, and it does so sonically with some beautiful choices. Felix Mallard chose a song for an important scene of his, and actress Brianne Howey easily chose a song to embody her character Georgia.

In his latest documentary, “Retrograde,” daredevil director Matthew Heineman captures the final months of America’s 20-year war in Afghanistan. To tell the harrowing story through the eyes of Americans and Afghans, the Oscar-nominated filmmaker embedded with the U.S. Army Green Berets and Lt. Gen. Heineman is no stranger to battlegrounds. He has put his life on the line to make documentaries about the Mexican drug wars (“Cartel Land”), Isis in Syria (“City of Ghosts”) and the initial explosion of Covid-19 in the U.S. (“The First Wave”). But he says “Retrograde,” which refers to the process by which military forces extricate themselves from conflict, was his most difficult film.
