Not the best.. but the most memorable:)

This drama was my first on going drama. I waited every week for episodes. And i really love it! It's nothing special with the story actually, it's not something new (a girl pretended to be a boy). That's a bit predictable. But that's not mean it's a bad drama. I hopelessly waiting every week because it's getting better and better. Sulli and Minho are so cute and sweet together (i can't stand). AND THE BEAUTIFUL SOUNDTRACK, OMG!! This drama+the soundtrack=memorable. I always remember that moment when i watch this drama when listening to Butterfly (by Jessica&Krystal), In Your Eyes (by Onew), Stand Up (Jmin), etc.

Yes, it's Beautiful.

This is a beautiful Korean Drama/TV Show. It's actually my first and I'm very impressed by the acting in this. Sulli from f(x) and Minho from SHINee are so good and are probably the best. Sulli being the boy is actually quite believable despite her showing some of her female side throughout the show. Minho comes out as tough and serious. He does it perfectly well, and when the time for him to be all funny and different, he does it so naturally you'd think he wasn't even acting! The supporting cast are great too. It has so much funny moments that just make you laugh ill you cry and sad moments that make you cry instantly. The music/soundtrack are also very impressive and come in the right moment! It's amazing how they do all this, I never expected this much. I clearly underestimated the Korean Entertainment Industry!

Recommended for any KPOP fans and anyone who are interested in Korean Dramas!

WHOA Good Stuff

Warning: Spoilers
OK....no giant shark terrorizing beaches while eating people...I can overlook that tidbit of excitement. No evil clown lurking under the streets of some small town...I can also overlook such reality as well. So what can I say? Well plenty. This is one of those shows I can sit through and not understand a stinking thing anyone says. It actually is that kind of shows. I don't know Korean at all, so I am at a loss as to what they are talking about. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Subtitles...you save the day. Honestly, this show is so well done, the humor is visually translated very well. Gotta love clarity in comedy. 'To the Beautiful You', is better than swell, it is smurf-a-liciously good. A very lighthearted high school romp inundated with little twists and turns, kind of makes the heart giggle. I feel so squishy. Good show - keep it up.

They ruined the manga
boommiesmith7 October 2012
This is one of the most horrible drama series I have ever watched. The acting is horrible. The main actor is stiff as a board. I don't even know why they gave him the role. The main actress is also horrible. She tried to be cute but she overacted all the time. Seriously, why don't you find someone who at least can act a little so that I didn't have to pull my hairs in frustration during the whole time watching your show. This show makes no sense at all. The plot is super messy. It's just like they threw a bunch of random things together and hoped it'd work. But it didn't. I don't even know why I wasted my time on it. Probably because I wanted to see how they butchered my favorite manga.

not good enough

Warning: Spoilers
Why you should watch this drama and actually enjoy it?? For the SM idols of course. Other than that, the drama is just, well, boring. To be honest, I'm still trying to finish it, while picking up It's okay its love (note, SM idol again plays in it). However the story does not appeal to me, so it's hard to keep watching it after the third episode. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of any of the idol groups of SM, and I didn't really recognise any of them easily, so, for me, this drama is just like any others. The story sounds okay, though the first episode doesn't really explain why the girl chose to dress up as a boy and attend the school. It was hinted that she may have a crush on the lead actor, but she actually hasn't, as it is revealed through the next episodes. She just admires him and wants to help him. Her acting though isn't that good, and the situations where she almost has her identity revealed, which should have been funny and awkward, are just bad. To top that, the romance is bleak, with the two actors showing no attraction for one another. Maybe the only thing that kept me going was actor Hyun-woo Lee, who's one of my favourites, though he even couldn't save this drama. So 2 out of 10. PS for all those of you who want to watch the drama for EXO, they appear for probably ten seconds in the second episode, so don't even bother.
