ITV nature show
SnoopyStyle8 April 2024
I've seen most of these animals in these situations. The first four episodes center on each season of the calendar. The fifth episode seems to be a bit of a random spin around the globe. The last episode deals with the scientists doing their research work around the world.

This is an ITV show co-produced by Fox Nation. Stephen Fry is the narrator. He could be the new David Attenborough if he wishes and he gets his hands a little bit dirty. He should get out of the recording studio and get his face on the show especially on that last episode. This jumps from one animal to the next without much connective tissue. The last episode is a little different in that they focus on people who are doing the real work. I do like that more for the actual science. As with some Fox shows, I do watch out for any climate change bias. The last episode deals with that a lot more and do it properly. The first five episodes have the pretty pictures, but that last one is more important.

Beautifully Filmed. Delightful Narration.

I'm watching the second episode now. It is AMAZING! I don't see any politics at all. Instead of current information they provide interesting facts about nature since the beginning of different species. I have no idea how some of this can be filmed, but it is amazing and beautiful. The sea of penguins is overwhelming. The dances of the birds is hilarious. The narration is warm and entertaining. I'm not sure why a review can't be concise. I highly recommend this show. It could of easily been PBS or BBC, but I guess they would of had to comment on issues of this century which is not necessary to enjoy nature.

VIEW WITH CAUTION

Warning: Spoilers
View with caution. Fox News and Fox nation have a history of sharing misleading information about our natural world and are funded/owned by those who have controlling interests in big oil! I noticed with their Yellowstone doc, the cleverly draw natural changes to natural events, which is true. In part. They do leave off a lot about Climate Change and the effects humans, specifically their share holders, have had on the environment. Kudos to producing a nature documentary but I'm worried this is closer to something like propaganda than something 100% factual. Not saying there isn't stuff to be gained, just be CAREFUL and remember this is from the people destroying our planet not healing it.
