Mumbai, March 18: Rupesh Paul's debut film "Saint Dracula 3D" has been given an 'A' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification, even after some cuts. The director is upset.
"I am extremely upset with the censor board. There are some lovemaking scenes in the film, which shows partial nudity. That has been completely chopped by the censors," Paul told Ians.
"It gets very difficult as we have to re-edit many scenes as they have chopped 40 to 45 seconds of the film. The audience would think its immature editing and they will not blame the censors if the film is not in sync," he added.

Here we go again.Last summer's big sexy adventure out of India was the disappointingly tepid Jism 2, starring Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone. However, even she, at the mercy of the notoriously sheepish Indian censor board, was forced to keep her clothes on. Well, director Rupesh Paul is determined that no breast shall remain unbared in his new film, the first of a proposed trilogy (!), Kamasutra 3D.Paul, the director of such "classics" as Saint Dracula 3D and My Mother's Laptop, has outlined ambitious plans to release a trio of Kamasutra films. While the first is merely in 3D, he insists that the next chapters will be in 4D and 5D, respectively, thus sating the need to increase the D's on skin flick sequels (think...

Lush backdrops, soft-focus lighting, soothing tabla drum-based music and a half-naked Sherlyn Chopra are the selling points of this teaser trailer for Kamasutra 3D. The project comes from director Rupesh Paul (Saint Dracula 3D), who announced at Cannes last year that he wanted to make an epic based on the classic Indian sex manual written by Vātsyāyana, and it would appear as if he’s making that a reality. According to the official synopsis, the movie is about “a young and beautiful Indian princess (Chopra), who sets out on a voyage in search of her husband whom she got married to as a child. Amidst the extravaganzas of the most luxurious ship in the world, she goes through the most personal and transformative changes of body, mind and soul. An enigmatic fellow passenger — the god of good looks and the ‘Kamasutra’ master- introduces her to the forbidden world of sexual love and sensuality.” Obviously...

New Delhi, Feb 1: Filmmaker Rupesh Paul's horror movie "Saint Dracula 3D" will be screened at the Jaipur International Film Festival Saturday.
"'Saint Dracula' is essentially a story of love and passion. While building up the script, I went through the most thumping love experience of my life. It was in the air; it touched me and distilled me," Paul said in a statement.
"This exceedingly weird and wonderful personal experience facilitated the script. In another state of mind and love, this would not have been possible," he added.
"Saint Dracula 3D" was also widely acknowledged and appreciated for its theme and demeanour.
