Review of these episodes

Snow escape: This episode scares me. Lynn hurting her siblings on packing day and she never got punished like always. Also Lynn needs to see a therapist. And I hope we don't get another packing day episode because the last thing we want is that ending up like April fools day episodes. But it's a 6.5/10 for this episode.

Snow news day: It was like Zach attack and The loudly bones. At least the action news team didn't get punished and Katherine mulligan defended them like in Snoop Scoop. We also got to see Liam's sheep Roxanne. Although bolhofner's missing toe was disturbing 7/10.

Overall: 7.5/10.

Snow tired of bad episodes!
brandyharringtonfan21 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
These new "The Loud House" episodes are very bland for this season. Lynn in this episode is horrible and these episodes are both ripoffs. I'm getting so tired of this.

"Snow Escape" is one episode I am very split on. Lynn Loud is my least favorite of the siblings and this episode portrays her absolutely horribly. Yes, she is a really horrible beast to her siblings and everyone around her, but I think they went too far in the wrong direction. Overall, Lynn's character has been ruined ever since season 3 and this episode doesn't help her at all. "Snow Escape" has another failing quality, the unoriginality. This episode is a ripoff of the amazing season 1 episode, "One Flu Over the Loud House" because this episode is basically just that one with "The Warriors" style 'assassinations' of the siblings, except with different settings.

"Snow Escape", for the most part, is decent. The first half is really meh because of the somewhat boring setup and an infuriating Lynn. Most of the jokes did not land, except for some of Lisa's jabs, and the characters in this half wipe out way too quickly because of the short runtime and the need for less characters to take Lynn out, thus rushing the first half.

The rest of the episode I enjoyed significantly more than the first part. Lola, my favorite sibling, has a lot of funny lines and is used in a clever way because of the giant star on her back for the 2nd grade party. I also liked the fact that the rest of the episode takes place in 'Lynn's Table' where they swap from defensive to offensive, and come up with a plan to stop Lynn. It was cleverly done. However, it doesn't work, which made me upset as seeing Lynn kept making me angry throughout this episode. Even after they leave the restaurant, Lynn gets stopped due to a forced reason including her annoying burps, by trapping her in a ton of snow. The ending is nothing special either. Lynn is STILL crazy about "packing days" and goes full-on dog mode and runs away with an insane look on her face.

Could have been way better, but decent for what it is. 6/10.

Snow News Day on the other hand is absolutely abysmal. This episode has many issues, even for a "Loud House" episode! This episode is a ripoff of the bad season 5 episode, "The Loudly Bones" where Lisa finds what she thinks is a dinosaur bone, only for it to be from Thanksgiving, yet keeps up this lie because of the fame and children loving science because of her show. In "Snow News Day", the Action News Team finds what they think is an abominable snowman, only for it to be sheep, yet keeps up the lie because of the attention from their "scoop of the century". Not only is this a ripoff of "The Loudly Bones", one could also say this rips off "Scoop Snoop" from earlier this season. Another big problem with this episode is the ending, but I'll get to that later.

The episode's first half is better than the second half. I prefer the more down-to-earth style (even though there's a FREAKING "ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN") at Lincoln's house and the school, at first, it's quite nice to see because I do miss the old style of writing back in the first season. However, things take a turn for the worst once the kids go out to look for the snowman again.

This is where they find it again, and where their story gets popular. It's seen on every news channel (with the addition of a horribly unfunny underwear joke) and all the kids at school talk about it. They have the whole guilt spiel, which is VERY ANNOYING to listen to after multiple seasons of this absolute atrocious writing, and find out here that it's actually Liam's sheep. The rest of the episode is honestly really hard to sit through. Mr. Bolhofner is still as horrible as ever and Katherine Mulligan does nothing to help this episode, despite my liking of her in previous episodes like the aforementioned "Scoop Snoop". The ending of this episode is another "Scoop Snoop" comparison. This time with Katherine sticking up for the little brats because "everyone makes mistakes". True, but seriously? Ending gag with Mr. Bolhofner's feet, and episode over! What a horrible way to end everything, yet very fitting.

A really annoying watch, 2/10.

In general, these episodes are a really bad Christmas "special" and just bad in general. I don't have high hopes for the episodes coming next week. Scores average to a 4/10.
