Have you ever experienced the sensation of being captivated by something seemingly simple? I admit I felt the need to watch it several times, to confirm my perception from the previous views and still struggle with my mind, trying to clearly expose what I liked that much. Probably influenced by the recurring, and perfectly fitting, Beatles' "Nowhere Man" soundtrack, accompanising the wandering of the character, I experienced a sense of tenderness and compassion towards what the protagonist was living, a sort of constant emotional osmosis with the spectator, developing from his awakening, during his exploration of the territory, up to the moment he lies down on the sand again, and his face is eventually revealed, filling the desire to uncover his identity and strenghtening the bond with him. I appreciate the fact that everything is roundly proposed as the amateur project it is, feature which, nevertheless, makes it even more interesting to my eyes, since it oozes the pure will of experimentation, drawing inspiration from what the surrounding environment can offer, reminding me the approach Agnès Varda took.
