- No violent or disturbing scenes. But there is one scene where Edison is doing an experiment with electricity to prove Westinghouse AC was more dangerous. He tested it on a horse. The horse died but it does not show the horse being electrocuted.
- Frank discussion about creating the electric chair to the point of being disturbing. Also scene showing hanging of a masked prisoner, guards break his neck due to ineffective rope. Offscreen electrocution of one character.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Part of the plot discusses Edison and Westinghouse's involvement in the first electric chair. The first human electric chair execution is discussed quite a bit, but it is not shown onscreen. There are scenes showing the electric chair being chosen, built, and the first prisoner being strapped in about to be electrocuted.
